i really like this book,
the style feels good to read, the genre isnt that common on RR and the story has a fresh plot that feels different from anything i have read on this website and the world building is subtle and very much show don't tell,
the characters feel vivid and 3 dimensional, especially the protagonist I feel like I know them.
the mini mystery of what is going on with the city is a great way to keep readers engaged and leaves me waiting for the next chapter (not really a spoiler (you will see why if you read it))
my one problem with this book is its grammar, to say it's not the best is an understatement, and the paragraphs are bricks, longer than they are wide, which is a problem as it drives readers away.
luckily this is an easy fix and can be done retroactively through editing and going back to previous chapters, as the first few chapter are a slog to read through if you aren't looking for the long run or invested in this book.
I really cant wait to see where this story goes.
