- BullerRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Sure, that doesn't mean it doesn't need more editing. Because it certainly does! When reading through the first few chapters, I saw several blatant errors on the grammar side of things with some peculiar decisions being made in the style department. This might have distracted me from seeing any potential flaws in personalties but I certainly saw nothing. For now, I'm giving this a 4/5. Can be better but needs work

The progression in this is very satisfying. I have not read much progression sci-fi that is set in the present day, but this story absolutely nails it. The progession is entirely plausible and it comes along quickly. It encompasses not just the MC's physical development, but also includes econmic progession and I think it is going to have some very satisfying base building very shortly. As I say though, this is done in the present day and it is believable.
This story has a lot of great ideas. At the point that it has got to I have no idea if the AI that is at the core of the story is going to be good or whether it is going to turn into HAL from 2001. I'm looking forward to finding out!
The reason that I took a star off is that the grammar and sentences sometimes need a fair amount of work to understand. It brings you out of the story when that happens. If that could be sorted out this story could be great!
I look forward to seeing how this progresses. - Icarus JaadiRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0The idea of the story is interesting, artificial intelligence is not an easy topic for a story because you have to back it up with a solid knowledge foundation and practice as well. I was a developer myself as well, and reading this kind of story made me relate much to what was happening in the story.
Style: There is a lot to work on with the grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure but readable at least. There are parts that find confusing but manageable if you pay a lot of attention to the details in the story.
Grammar: There are rough edges almost in every sentence that I found hard to read. Probably the sentence variation when some are too long that made the reader overloaded and lost in the middle of it? The author needs to work on it.
Character Score: The protagonist is creating an independent A.I-that doesn't have many restrictions on its core moral values except for a few ones. What I want to see here is on what basis the protagonist made the A.I chose its own moral values except for just telling us that it did what it does in a specific scenario.
This story has potential if the author works on his writing style and manages the flow of the story. - AlrezianRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5The author clearly has some interesting thoughts and premise for this story, but the many mistakes and choice of style made this work hard to read for me. Like missing punctuations, for example, or the lack of commas. I often don't know who are saying what.
Need more time for polish and editing to make this work better. Fortunately those are something that are easy to fix with enough time, and since the author is willing to listen to advices and suggestions, I'm sure this work will definitely become better - PlatypusTRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5The characters were interesting, and the story and plot kept me reading. There is definitely some meat here.
The first chapter is riddled with various grammar problems. The author made a note that English is not their first language, so I applaud them for getting this far.
The errors were bad enough to take me out of the story several times. These issues do improve with each new chapter, and it is extremely heartening to see the author grow and learn so quickly.
I have the feeling that if you stick with this story you might just discover a diamond in the rough. - TEZofAllTradesRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Style - Good use of 3rd person perspective. Paragraphing is unecessarily frequent and very inconsistent in spacing. Heavy use of Italics. Punctuation all but disappears occasionally e.g. end of chapter 2. Chapter 3 is much easier on the eye. Regarding POV changes, It could be tricky, but since most of them are short, I recommend rewriting in a way that emliminates them altogether and sticks to the MCs perspective. If you can find a way to make the AI suggestions incroparte RR's blue boxes/tables, I'm sure readers would enjoy.
Story - Strong idea that has potential. Author is clealry imaginative and has a clear story in mind. I liked the Tom & jerry reference. Author seems to have an understanding of things such as AI and cryptocurrency, so there are things for the reader to learn. Try to think about how you end each chapter. They don't all need cliffhangers, but they could allude to future events etc.
SPaG - Spelling is good. Considering the author states that hey are not a native English speaker, they have done well, but there are some big issues with punctuation and grammar. Commas are a pain, but there's a few too many missing here. I recommend researching how to punctuate dialogue tags, which is advanced but really helps your writing once you get the hang of it. In order to attract readers, try re-wrting the blurb/summary as well as possible.
Character - Strong charcaterisation and dialogue interactions. "5% chance it can go sideways" made me lol. I wouldn't want to be Jack right now!
