Hidden Figure from Café: Reincarnated with Gacha Clone System

Description
Kaelan Wynn’s life was a cosmic joke, and he was the punchline. Cursed to be the universe's personal punching bag, he navigated a world of falling objects and perpetual misfortune with a practiced smile. That was, until a plane decided to introduce itself to his apartment building. Dying? An unexpected inconvenience. Waking up in an endless white void before a low-tier god who tells you your entire life was a clerical error? That’s just insulting. Offered a second chance, Kaelan is reborn as Zero Ashworth in Aetherion—a magitech world of sparkling runes, political strife, and deep-seated prejudice. The catch? He's now an Archdemon, a member of a feared and hated race. His grand ambition isn't to conquer the world or claim a throne. It's to run a quiet café. His divine gift isn't a legendary sword; it's a Gacha system that lets him summon clones of fictional characters from his old world. The plan is simple: stay hidden, serve coffee, and let his army of avatars handle the messy parts of life.

- MichaelRotmoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is one of the more entertaining stories I have read in this genre. No issues with grammar as far as I can tell, and the characters are amusing.
It is one of those novels where power can grow exponential if one is not careful, but the power ceiling appears to be high enough that it would at least be believable if it happens over time.
This is a novel I will be keeping an eye on, and I have enjoyed myself thus far. - Possum_REaderRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story pulls you in right away. The cast is lively, the pacing stays sharp, and the plot develops with a satisfying rhythm.
The setting is an original world, with the "fanfiction" angle coming from clones who manifest as characters from different works of fiction. Those characters are written with real care - their personalities feel authentic without drifting into caricature. The tone leans slice‑of‑life, but the momentum builds quickly. There’s no overwhelming flood of clones, and each one gets enough attention to feel distinct. Both the original characters and the borrowed ones are charismatic and consistently fun to follow.
The overarching plot has real intrigue. The clones are quietly spreading through society, slipping into different roles while learning about the world. They function like a growing network, still contained to a single city but steadily expanding.
Erwin is working his way into the local police.
Sebas is our butler with the makings of a future Godfather.
Soma handles the cooking and the snark.
Legolas crafts things with elven finesse and skills of Wakana Gojo.
There are eldritch horrors, social tensions, and a protagonist carving out a place in a complicated world.
The gacha element stays simple: you earn points from the café’s income, spend them on pulls, and hope an overworked god smiles on your luck. Blaming that god when you don’t get what you want is half the fun.
The writing flows smoothly, the grammar holds up, and Cecil is an absolute highlight. - Raiken01Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Oh. My. God. Where do i even begin? I mean, beside telling how F****ING GOOD IT IS!?
I've discovered this beauty like...a week ago? And i DEVOURED it. I love this kind of story and the pacing is incredible, it only makes me want to have more of this. It's a balance of goofyness and worldbuilding that made me say "Yes! Yes!" For like an hour! - RyuzenRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story got me hooked. It got fun characters, good pacing and plot development.
Takes place in original world, the fanfiction part comes from the clones turning into characters from various fiction. And those characters are done very well. Their personalities shine without feeling out of character. It's a slice of life. Though it picks up pace pretty quickly. We aren't bombarded with army of clones though, and each of them are developed pretty well. The characters, both original and from other fiction, are charismatic and fun to read about.
Overarching plot is actually interesting. The clones are spreading through the society, infiltrating places while exploring the world. They are are like a network that is slowly expanding. So far it's contained in one city.
We got Erwin infiltrating local police plotline. Need I say more?
Yes, apparently because we got minimum word limit.
Gacha stuff is pretty simple. You get points from money gained from caffe. You pull card and you migth get a character card, if a an overworked god blesses you with good luck. Not really, but its fun to blame your lack of luck on someone.
I got no complaints with grammar. The style flows nicely. And Cecil rocks. - Shadow108Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0It’s cozy, funny, and way more heartfelt than you’d expect. The pacing is smooth—never dragging or rushing—and I’m really into where the story’s heading as this political drama/power fantasy mix. It’s my favourite combo. I like the Sechzo found family vibes, and the whole “talking to your own clones” thing is an interesting twist.
- kann99Royal Road★★★★ 4.0It's really good, love all of the characters. World building is all so amazing, zero could have more time and I like that it doesn't have romance. All in all solid 9 of the 10. I i i i i i i i II i i i i i i
