Description

This Book began May 2, 2025, and continues the story of the Shards of Aelryinth in other multiverses and worlds. ----------------- Shard Funf has been sent to yet another new multiverse, this one resembling Mystara of BECMI D&D. This world is oddly familiar, with dungeons and dragons, elves and dwarves, humans and orcs... but Good and Heaven are not powers here, only uncaring Law and Chaos, evil is in the eye of the beholder, and there are no gods, only ascended Immortals going about their personal Projects without much care for the lives and desires of mere mortals. The road to mortal Power is clear and broad, and Funf has a huge head start on matters, but when the world is in the hands of rival Immortals and hapless mortals are caught in the middle, it's going to take a new approach to things to shake up the existing order of things and maybe, just maybe, bring the Light of Heaven and some actual culpability to a bunch of uncaring super-beings...

If you liked RED's other stories, you will love this one too. The world building is phenomenal as always. I don't know much about the earlier versions of D&D but this story introduces the power systems to the user in an easy to understand way provided you have read any of RED's other stories.Love the main character and the use of time travel as time travel was out of reach in all RED's other stories due to forsaken being present. Can't wait for more!

Great story, so many nostalgic memories of the red box Basic game of my youth. Thanks for the awesome saga. I keep hoping to hear about Bargle or the sword coast or Sabre river. The visit to Darkmoor has been very entertaining. If Lady Edge can please break the iron ring and defeat  the master also!

This story is extremely well thought out and written, much as the other installments of the Power of Ten series have been. The characters are consistently well designed and I honestly can't fathom the amount of planning and behind the scenes work that goes on to create this world. The amount of world building is insane, but not forced upon you. You don't need to know everything to enjoy the story, but doing so does further immerse you in the writing.Overall, just a brilliant piece of creativity. I eagerly await future chapters.

As the title says, the first few chapters make a good show for the setting, all the while i'm quietly giggling because i love the underlying plot.
What will happen with plot? Which recurring characters will appear in what order?
And how will Edgelord mc Bloodrose grow thematically ^^
    Im excited to find out.

Like all the other stories by this author it follows a similar design of character, story and design process.
the story is as always fun to read on a day to day basis and has it‘s exciting and slow moments. A cast of characters known to the reader of older works in an interesting world going on adventures feels like a nice homey meal on a cold day when read. More about familiarity than suspense. Can recommend as part of the overall series!

Biracial Edgelord has quickly become one of my all-time favorite LitRPG novels. Although similar in premise to the other PoT stories, Book 7 has new characters and a fantastic setting adapted from some classic Dungeons and Dragons modules that keep it fresh. The author somehow conveys a believable RPG-style system and complex world without pages of stat sheets or massive in-your-face lore dumps. A comprehensive glossary in the beginning and the overall stand-alone nature of the story means I would recommend it even to readers who haven’t read any of RE Druin’s other works.

Loving the story so far.  Also having a much easier time with this story then Asherons fall.  I found having an understanding  of the background system and world is can make a huge difference  in enjoying the story and am happy to be back with a setting i have some knowledge  of.
I am enjoying the way she is trying to work with the limited system as well as the style she works with due to her bloodline.  I had hoped damphir would have a bit more effect as so far it has not played much of any role.
I am also excited to see how she is building up a group of diverse races and what will become of them in the future.
It will be interesting  to see if there end up being any changes to the timeline when the current arc finishes.
My one slight disappointment is how her mother seems to have just fallen into the background.  This may change in later chapters and i understand being a child with the mind of an adult is not fun but was expecting a slight  bit more growth like with hazel in a previous story. Hopefully  there is further closure on this later in the story beyond just letting a sim grow up for decades wgile she forgets all about the childhood  and family

I really like the style of Power of Ten. The last book (Asheron’s Fall) was less to my taste because I never played Asheron‘s Call, but this sequel promises to be a great continuation of the series. Some of the things I think are done very well are the portrayal of the dwarfs (I just like how they behave) and the differences between the races. The only negative thing in my opinion is the sometimes confusing advancement in power. But that is something I would have to research more in-depth to understand. Generally I’m happy with just knowing that she advanced in power an enjoy the plot
The plot in this evolves in a great way. At first I was worried we were gonna have 100 chapters as a baby, but that was resolved quickly.
I can‘t say a lot about the the grammar, except that I never noticed anything, which also says something.
The Power of Ten to a certain extent rehashes the same character over and over again. But it is done in a way which still makes them distinct from one another, in my opinion. A good example in this story, is how Edge leans into her name and develops a personal style around it.
I really look forward to seeing, where Sama and Briggs, will be brought into the story. I am also curious how hard Edge is gonna slap down some of the immortals.

Join a shard of Aelrynth as she brings some light to the Dark Moor of BECMI, in this new story from RE Druin.Edge has a problem. A splinter of a soul, karma and memories sacrificed to keep a great curse at bay, she is caught up in the machinations of the immortals. Above, the void phoenix stares down, and deep below, something looks up. Ageless beings play games with the mortal world in an enerernal conflict of the spheres, and not everything in this lane of fantasy is what it seems.Time to get to work, bring the light and perhaps saving a few Good people from the Doom planned for them.If only she weren’t a newborn.A newborn half-shadow elf, quarter-vampire.A newborn half-shadow elf, quarter vampire with an affinity for necromantic and blood magic.———This story is inspired by the First Fantasy Game, run by Dave Arneson, and the core of the original Mustafa setting of early BECMI DND (Basic, Expert, Companion, Master, and Immortal). It follows Edge, the fifth soul-shard of Aelrynth, and what an ex-gamer can do in a magical world.Of course, the Rules Are Different Here, and much higher-level magic is available, whilst the threat level is likewise extending to the realm of the Immortal god-like beings, who are not beholden to the Alignments. Good and Evil have no hold, while law and chaos have free reign. But with a bit of know-how, some Raising the Floor, and perhaps a bit of timey-wimey power gaming Edge will save as many as she can.As always, RE Druin brings a mechanic-heavy litRPG lens with his own spin to a classic franchise. Top-quality grammar, good storytelling, epic scope and the consistency of more than 2000 chapters in a row mean this is one to watch.
