Description

A demon from another world is transported to her favorite novel, only to discover she was reborn a higher species being, a devil. She also finds out she was born a couple of years before the novels beginning, infinitely far away from the garbage ending. With that knowledge in mind, her mission was clear. Find her favorite overpowered side character, save him from his terrible fate, and since she was now a cute devil, slip in a marriage contract for her hard work! A perfect start to her perfect story. But she soon figures out having the blood of a higher being is a bit different than having the blood of mortals. As a devil, getting what you want is obvious, but for them, how you get it matters much more. Upload Schedule: 3 - 5 Chapters a week, Mon - Fri. I think to know where this story is going, that not all angels and gods are good guys and that not all devil are monsters.
I hope the story will not be one-sided only about good devils saving the world from these dumb angels. So far it is not and I hope it stays so.

This story is one of my absolute favorites. Let's discuss why:
1.) Our protagonist is unhinged, and I love her because she continuously evolves. Her insanity and obsession is nuanced, it's not a one trick shtick.
2.) Author is a MASTER of POV. Everyone is the hero in their own minds, and we are given a masterclass in how point of view and what's ACTUALLY going on can differ. Characters like Damien and Tala are overly self-righteous; I both love and hate their chapters because the characters themselves are annoying as hell, but that's because they're well-written.
3.) It's not all just about Hannya. There are background stories and relationships going on constantly, outside of her awareness, and they shape and influence the story. Things are hinted at that the characters don't find out until later.
4.) Grammar/spelling has a little whoopsie once in a blue moon, but it's always minor, and easily ignored. Honestly, with the quality of story telling here, the grammar could be MUCH worse and I'd still rate this story highly.

A real all round gem once you get into what the story is all about. I feel the first few chapters could be a bit tighter, especially around who's talking and what we're meant to take away from the interactions, but I haven't had that thought anywhere beyond the very early scene setters.Grammar and flow is to a high quality, and the style is amazing. I really love it when people make use of the platform's ability to use coloured text you don't get in a physical book; it's really smoothly implicitly clear what a colour change represents and instantly sends me into hype mode because you know a scene's about to have something very cool or important happen.Rated story a little lower because I'm not entirely sure where it's going at the moment, but it hasn't bored or confused me either so anything lower would feel equally disingenuous. Very much focusing on character for now, though I should mention it is a very fun detail very smoothly incorporated that MCs original world is mirrored to irl.Character is where this story shines and why I said "once you know what it's about". MC is off her rocker. The story does a great job of making all the characters relatable but decidedly Other, most of all MC. It's very fun seeing her schemes and feel like everything is going exactly according to plan, without her feeling OP, because she's also a prideful tantruming misanderist who's entirely deluded herself for her main goal. And then you get the double whammy of seeing the scene again from someone else's view, not just for comedic "haha she's crazy" but simultaneously characterising the other person further too. Very invested in every character that's been presented so far.

This is a very enjoyable story. The mc was a demon in her original world (her og world was filled with demon inhabitants, there were no humans, and it was a reverse of our world as it followed a matriarchal system). There she really loved this one novel which featured the story of 8 human heroes in a world where there are angels, humans, demons, devils. But mc hates the last protagonist of that novel and his dumb harem. Her favorite character is a genius devil named '6th Vainglory'
then she gets reincarnated into the universe of the novel as a six star devil. So she decides to save her favorite character and change the future.
The mc was crazy from the beginning and her devil bloodline turned her into an even crazier being. She was obsessed with vainglory in her og world and her obsession increased by a 100% after her reincarnation. I also really love the way the text turns pink when she's being controlled by her devil instincts.

Hopefully, she does not become the stereotypical fighter where she just blasted her enemies away with her fist or sword or whatever, but actually uses her charm ability as we have manipulation and commands to win battles. A perfect power fantasy story for the right audience.
The story description and tags are honest and straightforward but cannot be overstated. If you like yanderes, edgy power fantasies, and poking fun at our own society by reflecting our own faults with a humorous slant, then you will be binge reading the story from start to finish like I was. However, if any of those make you uncomfortable or otherwise upset you... that is unfortunate for you.
My favorite part about the story, however, is that the author has either invented a complicated and well thought out power system that works perfectly with a litrpg. Or they have been inspired by a dozen or more similar systems and put their own twist on it. Or they are my kindred spirit and are figuring it out on the go by making up cool sounding things and then retroactively explaining them when a brief lore dump becomes necessary for the audience to follow the plot. For their sanity, I hope it is the first, for my ego I hope it is the last so I can have some solidarity.
I'm mostly trying to fill the word count at this time but regardless, if you like the first chapter you will love the rest of the story.

Brilliant writing. It might not be for everyone, with how the descriptions of things are worded, but I personally find it quite beautiful and vivid. It allows you to easily imagine everything, while also managing to paint the picture of a world that's incredibly fantastical and beautiful, in addition to giving that same world grimdark fantasy elements at the same time. Honestly, it's impressive, and I wish more authors had that kind of skill.Every chapter flows beautifully from one word to the next, and every interaction with every character leaves you wanting to know and read more about them. Except for Damien. Fuck Damien.ahemThe magic is unique and interesting, and everything plays out in such a way that it's almost baffling, wonderfully showcasing the butterfly effect.Events that were mentioned briefly or contained in only a single chapter are pleasantly revisited later, as well, always making another appearance just when you're about to forget about them. Pete details how those events have impacted things, what all has transported because of those events, and how new and familiar side characters interact with those events.Frankly, I don't think I actually have any real complaints or anything negative to say about Heart Devil at all, except maybe that I wish it got more than three chapters a week haha.Anyhow... 12/10 would recommend reading. Best book ever. Have fun!

Normally, I like to focus more on grammar, writing, etc. If I go by these metrics, this novel would get 3*. However, I think it deserves more.Let's start with the story is addictive as hell. So far, I have re-read the last few chapters a few times because they were so unhinged. It's like, you read them once, go What the heck did I just read, and still go again.The characters are quite well done and make quite a good comedic setting, also making you question their sanity. MC is absolutely unhinged girl to the point it's hilarious. The story starts with stuff that will get you cancelled 10 times over, spits on that and goes for a high score. The author decided that flipping the table was not enough, it must be sent directly into space, so antics just keep piling on.The story though has its issues, grammatical mistake here and there, and writing and structure that could be improved upon. Lacking descriptions, which make it difficult to visualise surroundings or personages, over-description and repetition of the same descriptions also exist. Also, personally would like the MC obsession to scale down a bit with time. The level of mental gymnastics she goes on sometimes is quite insane.Also, hope she is not a true spiral.In the end, I would say go read it. It's quite good.
