Healing Dungeon

Description
//DUNGEONMechanics will start to appear around chapter 100+/Arc 3 of the story! \\
Avan, a 25-year-old young man, is torn from his rather boring life. He awakens in Aorus, a world full of magic, monsters and dungeons.By a stroke of luck and an ominous skill called "Potential", he awakens a new class never seen before called Dungeonheart (Human). Dungeons, although sentient, are never sapient nor mobile.Join Avan as he pursues his passion for healing and martial arts, and building his very own dungeon at the same time. He’s the hybrid of a moving dungeon and a healer.
"Healing Dungeon" will include City building, strategy, very little romance, exploration of the world of Aorus, and a touch of power levelling. (There are elements from other fantasy novels, as well as anime, games, and more). What will all be possible with a dungeon that can move, but still brings some of the familiar dungeon mechanics along for its journey?
-- Please note that the beginning and thus the first chapters were really my first writing works in english, and can only be rewritten at a later time (lack of time in favor for new chapters) --(The writing style and also the story improves VERY much from the 12th chapter at the latest! Proofreading is available, but I depend on any well-intentioned advice from you guys).
If you have any questions, suggestions, constructive criticism, or just because you feel like it, feel free to leave me a comment below the respective chapters! For every positive and serious review or rating, I am infinitely grateful! ;)
I am a creature of few words and the beginning is therefore a little faster than I would have liked it now in retrospect. Please do not expect huge paraphrases and descriptions of the environments, but only what is really necessary to get into the scene.
Cheers and hopefully see you in the comment section.

- NightLoreRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm loving this so far the only thing I could critique is that on the character page you have his name as Avon on all of them and the rest of the time Avan. If it's like that for a reson it needs to be put in the earlier chapters or an edit to change it to either or of the names which ever is the proper one
- EmmaLeiaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So far I have enjoyed reading this story. While the author is not a native English speaker, I am impressed how well it is written. The main giveaway is phrases and wording that is not usually used by native speakers.
The MC of this story is shaping up to be very OP so it will be interesting to see where it goes. - RieltaRegiousRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Just finished the latesst chapter.
I absolutely loved this story! Everything about it was either perfect or close to perfect!!! I thought I might as well leave a full review.
Style: I find the pacing to be just right. It's not too fast that things are all over the place or pieces are left out/behind. It doesn't seem too rushed. And it's certainly not to slow as to have things forgotten or written out of context. Overall 5/5 for that.
Story: I am really enjoying the direction this story seems to be going. Nothing is overly sexualised (thank goodness for that) or romance based (once again glad to read something that isn't romance heavy) so that's a massive plus for me. The skills/attributes and the system has certainly been thought through. I am certain it took ages to polish up. The author had put clear effort into this. Characters are described quite well. Could maybe use slight improvement to help get a clearer image. The art work within the story helps. The story arcs seem well correlated. Little bits and pieces just fit in.
Grammar: As a native English speaker (can't say I'm good at the subject/language though) I can't seem to find many faults. I myself haven't noticed too many grammar, spelling or puctuation mistakes. (I didn't deeply look into it but nothing really glared out to me)
Character:The characters have a purpose and each one is thought out and don't overlap.
For me I think overall the story is consistent and competently written. I'm greatful to be able to read it. - BeleriandRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Inner monologue actually helping me imagine.
In the beginning a lot of luck to get jumpstart which is needed, since everyone in the world learn from small and he got there as an adult it is kind of necessary imo.
I hope the more i read the better it got - JackRuin33Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5First review ever written on this site. Overall, I enjoy this story it has the seeds of epic proportions. However, it needs polish to shine with the story tropes it utilizes. There are emotional moments in the story that do not instill an emotional reaction from me. There is a lot going on in the story at different levels of existence. We have our MC who I question his sanity a lot, side characters that I wonder if we'll ever see again and finally gods that shadow our MC That push and pull him in certain directions.
The style of the story falls short. With all fairness this isn't our author's first language. The author does not give certain situations or event enough time to payout in the long run. So, I understand that the style reinforced in this story does not resonate with me.
The story so far is unfulfilled and feels as if we're still in the introduction phase of the story. The title is healing dungeon however our MC is not a great healer or a decent dungeon. Our MC is still being pulled around as if he has lost or has no agency, but I love the potential of where the story is heading. Between wolves, goblins, slavers, and chimaeras we have had a lot of encounters throughout the story. Personally, cannot wait when our MC makes a dragon one of his companions here’s hoping that happens.
The grammar is probably better than mine if I wrote a story. The dialogue between characters is questionable sometimes. this may go back into style but our MC instead of projecting carefreeness projects a certain childishness. He is supposed to be an American however he reminds me of a Kung Fu character laughing at anything that catches his fancy. Even if it is socially inappropriate to laugh at what caught his fancy.
The characters in the story I cannot say I dislike them. I enjoy most of our lineup even if at some point they are being socially unaware or being a little cringey. From personal experience I've met people similar to a few of the characters introduce - SparkleTopRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Although this book falls a little into Mary sue territory, it is interesting and worth reading. I haven't read anything with a premise quite like this one, and I am excited to see where the author takes it. And to the author -- don't let a .5 star rating bring you down!
- AnaricRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0the style is decent, the story is pleasant even if somewhat predictable. The behavior of the MC is weird at time, making it harder to relate or immerse, and the tone is not always appropriate imho, in particuliar when introducing the young beast kin. Most of the time i felt like the mc was not a real individual but more like a character in a game (childish reaction, inconsistent behavior, like nothing is real to him).
for a litrpg the progression (stats etc..) could be improoved : at some point the MC get a bonus equivalent to 60 levels while being level 16 without having done something extraordinary, making the leveling less important in the progression.
in conclusion, i would say that it needs work to be great story, but it s still entertaining as it is. - HalfbackRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0I like the class but it's the exact same beginning as other storylines it's easy to follow. Some words are misplaced in sentences but if English is not ur first language then it is easy to do that. English is the hardest language to learn just because we have a lot of inference. People who just give a .5 rating because of a few mistakes need to take a good hard look at there own life and honestly ask if they are perfect.
- tonythereaderRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0The story and characters are decent so far and I really like the plot. The only critic I could give would be to work on making the dialog a little more real and smooth. It feels a little stiff and unpolished but it's not bad. Other than that keep up the good work!
- Rabid FanRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5A rather decent idea taken on with a considerable effort in writing.
The writing is fairly good ,grammar and spelling have a good effort.
Yet it all falls flat on it's face as the logic of a dungeon verses a healer book are too contradictory and simply fail as a concept delivered here.
Should you be a fan of Wuxia or Xianxia you will realise a few fun tropes have shown up and are ready examples of what to expect in this book.
Sadly anyone that has read better content based around healers or dungeons will find this book lacks on both accounts
There is little dungeon building going on and as a healer for a dungeon party I'd rather invite an off key bard ro scare away mice from attacking me then this healer.
See you might think that this is a case of underpowered MC but no this is not the case here. What has occured and is more frustrating is a seasaw MC that is "OP" then "weak"t hen "OP" then weak .. the sort of shit you see in Xianxia.
Without spoiling this book the addition of tough subjects were done with very little "real" flavour and so anyone reading is always suspending belief of what an actual person would do in that situation.
Fight scenes could do with more violence however there are some gem moments that do happen.
Making your villian better using foreshadowing , (eg this one is to fix the second brother needs to be seen earlier ) making your MC have consitency in power accumulation : there are ways to make the "weak" guy win and still have it believed so you can show "progression", Make "Villians" into" People" why are they doing "EVIL" :EG YU's misery --- This is by far a section that will make adult readers wish to vomit a rainbow and it could be fixed by not making her quite so sweet and inocent...any fantasy fan will tell you ADVENTURERS are better flawed.
So why READ when bored then ?
The broader strokes of the story are good some may even like the concept,
The Monsters are the MVP in this book as the Authour has described well when it came to non
