The typical stereotype.  A boy sees a cat in the street, he goes to pick it up and rescue it.  And as a result, he gets hit by a truck, with both him and the cat unfortunately dying.

But that is where what one would expect comes to an end.

Because the world the boy woke up in was nothing like the world one would expect to.  Waking up into a world of supernatural terrors and monsters, amid a bustling city, he wakes up reincarnated as a Cat Spirit Being, with only his memories of his previous life, and a bit of magical power.   Embroiled into a mystery, his one sign of hope is one man, and his organization.
