Description

Many old men have to rediscover life after losing all they once loved. It is a cruel fate when a boy must do it instead.

Terin lives in a small northern remote village. It's a rough lifestyle, but he enjoys it. He is lucky enough to have a caring father and a funny and loving younger brother. The forests he grew up in have started shaping him into the mold of the strong and reliable man he will become.

At 14 years old, it is time for his coming of age ceremony. Forming a mana core is an exciting event, but also stressful for those who hope to stand out amongst their peers. It will be a ceremony that shapes him a lot more than expected, changing his destiny. It is unfortunate that fate must play it's course. Terin's journey thereafter will be a long one, and it will be filled with many emotions, many epics, and many adventures.

This is the author, Kapa. I'll probably be pretty slow at putting new chapters in, but I'll try my best to stay consistent if anyone ends up enjoying Terin's journey.

The setting is pretty standard high fantasy, decently OP character, normal stuff I'm sure ever reader has come across in other novels. I really just wanted to write something that had an interesting world with a character who is going through some struggles, trying to find a way to live and experience the life they want to have.
