From zero: the dark descent

Azrael Varos is a 17-year-old academic genius living in England, his sharp intellect setting him apart from his peers. With his two closest friends—Shoji, the energetic troublemaker, and Ryuu, the stoic but fiercely loyal protector—Azrael’s life seems predictable, a cycle of top grades, quiet moments, and unspoken feelings for his longtime crush.

But everything changes when he starts feeling… off. Strange visions plague him—a world unlike his own, filled with magic, war, and forgotten names. One day in class, he collapses, waking up in the medical office to find his crush watching over him. They talk, and for a fleeting moment, another world flashes before his eyes—fantastical, yet eerily familiar.
