[I died and was accidentally reborn as an angelic monstrosity, so now I’m building a holy dungeon-tower that is tall enough to reach the gods; so that I can complain about it! But the humans think that I am trying to destroy the world.]
The senselessness of so much of the world’s death and suffering is made apparent to the dying paladin, Isaiah, in his final moments before he perishes and is, shortly thereafter, reborn into a comparatively quiet and peaceful existence as a simple blackbird.
However, the powerful magic of the god whom Isaiah himself had served in his prior human life upends this latest existence, as a spell goes awry, turning the entity instead into a strange, angelic monstrosity that is neither man nor animal.
Isaiah, desperate to return to its simple life as a blackbird, sets out to build the tallest tower ever seen by the eyes of the world in order to reach the reclusive gods who reside in the heavens above and make them undo the transformation in a bid to allow itself an escape from the complex suffering of intelligent, self-aware mortality.

- sth sthRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Most dungeon core novels I've read usually start to get stale after 5 or 10 chapters. Usually core gets born or reincarnated, learns stuff, meets humans becomes friends and then it's all standard growth and alliances. I think this novel isn't going this way (you can tell by the description) , I was sceptical at first but chap 17 is a turning point and it took me by surprise. Also the whole tower like style golems gives me solo leveling opening vibes and a bit of a connection to tower of god

Unironically though, this story is brilliant. If you find dungeon core stories even remotely interesting, this should be right up your alley. I can't wait to find out what will happen next and how our smexy dungeon core will grow. - GuthanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's been entertaining so far. Looking forward to seeing where it goes. The side character development is where these type of stories shine, so I am glad to see that prioritized. I'm hopeful we get some frequent interludes in the future of other character so we can see how people react.
- InnominatusRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Well, this is a weird story. A dungeon core made from a human male reincarnated as a female bird, who is then transformed into some androgynous Angel abomination. One that still wants to hook back up with its bird husband and raise baby birds together. Seriously, that’s the entire driving motivation for the main character. WTF.
To top it off, the main character isn’t in total control of the dungeon building as might be expected, relegating much of the work and design to minions. Minions who all have innate knowledge much like traditional dungeon faeries, but function mostly as worker bees. Surprisingly, it’s a symbiotic process that works so far. Oh, and by dungeon I mean tower.
It's all a bit confusing. Also, what’s up with the story title? Why isn’t this called Tower Core? Or how about Bird Core? SMH
Despite all these bizarre story elements being mashed together, this is actually a really well-written story. Grammar and pacing are on point. Character and world building are both a bit light, but it fits the type of story being told. I’m totally hooked and can’t wait to find out where it all leads. My thanks to author for sharing their work on RoyalRoad! - MontenegroRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0F*king amazing, and makes you feel like a stupid bird god. There are some chapters that are boring but the great ones make up for them. Same with the pov switching, sometimes its absolutely perfect, and then sometimes I couldn't care less.
Ps; the author has a demon core novel too that's pretty good. - Seeking PolarisRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Chapter 17 I think is probably the reasonable end of the very beginning, and it seems like chapter 18 is where things are really gonna kick off. Of course that also means it could very suddenly turn to complete crap in record time on chapter 18 but it seems like the author knows what they're doing by now so there isn't too much risk of it flying off the rails in any bad way.
I'm guessing this is gonna be on trending if it keeps up this quality of story with its entirely unique setting among dungeon stories, along with the good speed of the updates.
Edit: I was gonna leave it at 4.5 stars due to lack of chapters to satisfy a 5 star rating, but then I read the other reviews and checked the authors other works and decided 5 stars was pretty much mandatory because the quality isn't gonna be dropping off anytime soon. This one's a keeper. - goatheliXRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It starts off simple but slowly becomes a story about love and loss, of spirit and what faith mean, of letting go of the past and its painful grasp. I don't think I will ever forget this story.

The characters, including the antagonists, feel immensely genuine and coherent and I love how the chapters from other POVs show an immense depth.
Im pleased to say that Final Core manages to gracefully avoid getting bogged down in the minutia of stats and system which often detracts from the story itself. Characters also rarely if ever feel forgotten as they continue to have small but meaningful contributions to the narrative in the background.
I'm eagerly looking forward to the next chapters and how things will progress from here. - nytoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Such creativity and novelty - this story grips you with a lovable cast of characters thrown into a grand adventure.
One of Razmatazz's hallmarks is that his stories have a layer of sweet cinnamon sugar concealing a world of ultra-violence - tread carefully if it's not your thing!
The author has definitely taken the criticisms from his past stories and stepped it up several notches - pacing has greatly improved, characters have time to breathe and grow but trials come at a steady pace as well. Overall, it's both a comforting and exciting read. - 1Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Great start. Quite a bit more weird than the title suggests, but that's standard for a Razzmatazz story.
Considering all of the dungeon core stories I have read, this is an extremely unique take on the genre. Instead of a smart core aimlessly grinding through typical activities of a dungeon core (killing monsters, gathering resources, etc), there is a dumb core with a single-minded focus on building their dungeon ever-higher, helped along by it's much more intelligent summoned minions.
Grammer, syntax, and sentance structure are immaculate, as usual.
The pace seems to be maintaining a decent speed, which is both sad, as there will be less content, but also good, as I get to read more.
At a glance, this story will tread into darkness pretty often, so if you're looking for a wholesome happy dungeon core story where it makes peace with humanity, you're better off elsewhere. On a postive note, the main character isn't malicious, just very unintelligent.
Characters are pretty funny, and stand in stark contrast to much of the genre. I appreciate the sarcastic and tongue-in-cheek dialogue.
All in all, it's amazing already, and will only further progress, so you may as well start reading now.
