This is one of those stories I really need on audible ASAP.
Chapter one was great and hooked me in, and then from there, I blinked and was on chapter five, then ten. Honestly, I just want more time from work and writing so I can read more stories like this.
The story is nice, and the MC has a clear goal in mind. Honestly, it has one of my favorite tropes for op mc's that come in with some knowledge and start turning the place upside down with new improvements.
All in all, I have only read up to chapter ten so far, and really want to know more about the magic system. There being only 4 ranks is really intriguing, and it feels like the mc is gonna reach Rank 3 and then suddenly he will find that the ranks go all the way up to 10.
Another thing, I hope it is added later on or honestly, maybe a new fiction for you, even if it's short, is following the events of the previous universe. Just to see what goes down after the mc leaves.
If you like progression and a cold-hearted, intelligent MC with clear intentions and means to get the ball moving, then this is the story for you! Seriously, stuff starts going down fast!

I really like the magic system and what the author showed us so far regarding it, it has clear limitations while providing immense power and qualitive growth with each rank(which is my personal favorite type of power system, i don't like it when its too weak or gets too OP too quick.). The worldbuilding was on point, it manages to paint a pretty clear picture of the world.
Honestly, this novel nails the fight scenes, especially the one on the chapter 34, is insanely good in my opinion, its dynamic, creative and well choreographed.
The grammar is good, it works. The writing is clean and easy to read, which I appreciate.
Mc, Isaiah is pretty solid, he is pretty competent while being fun. Its a mix of laid back and ruthlessness, which author made blend well.
Lily and Louie are fantastic supporting characters. They add a lot of humor and energy to the story, and their interaction with Isaiah are always entertaining., I think they made a great supporting cast.
As for the story so far, its currently building up pretty well, I'm excited to see how it turns out.
Its overall a pretty good novel which I would recommend.
PS: the formation magic is pretty rad, especially the way MC uses them.

The story feels like I'm just getting plot points, I feel I could read the title of all the chapters and that'd feel the same as reading the chapters.
The MC is hyper-fixated on immortality but why? Is he scared of death, or some other reason, like losing a close one as he pursues this goal even in his first life, there doesn't seem to be any attempt to explain.
The MC also feels very cold, why is that did he have a difficult childhood or was that a purposeful decision and isolate himself, if he did, did he kill his previous relations?
I just feel like I don't understand why the MC is like this and the author has probably read RI. Fang Yuan is what he is because he is scared of death and he finds life meaningless unless it's eternal so he will do anything under these 2 premises.
