The world is in shambles after the apocalyptic apocalypse. Zhou Lin was reborn three days before the apocalypse and gained the ability of "symbiosis". After careful consideration, he boarded a flight to the island. - ShemryuRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I liked most of the initial concepts. Bonding with a vehicle I see a lot of potential for. Dying and going back in time to before the Apocalypse isn't my favorite setup, but it fits the story decently. I like the main characters' thought process on what vehicles to bond with. Starting with trucks then trains and the final inspiration to go for ships.
The heist felt a little under planned but he was under a time crunch so it makes sense especially with his powers. His powers were explained decently well, especially the lore, but I would have liked even more details or graphs. Feels to me that the character learned from the past life and is embracing the new one.
I find his relationship with his girlfriend interesting, specifically the new path he's taking with her. We see a little bit from her point of view to justify his perspective of her being rotten. The pay off of her comeuppance will be something I'll look forward to. I also like how he plans to work with his family to capitalize on his foreknowledge.
For all the good I see in this story, it's definitely a diamond in the rough, and needs quite a lot of time with an editor.
