Description

For millennia the island of Britain has been protected from both the calamities of this world and the things beyond by champions empowered beyond mortal capabilities. Some groups of these heroes fought in teams to even the odds. Others were akin to knights and countered otherworldly might with solid metal armour from the stars. But one type of hero was powered by an ancient technology. A weapons system that let mere humans fight on the level of monsters. These Heroes were often outsiders not just because of the staggering potential offered by the weapon but its unpredictability.

None of this meant anything to Myles Endeavour. Like most people he was ignorant of the existential threats forgotten by history, all Myles knew was that sometimes things seemed a bit off, nothing he could articulate, just gut feelings and instincts telling him to run. Because of this he wanted to keep his head down and live a quiet small town life. So it comes as quite a shock when he wakes up permanently bonded to an ancient volatile weapons system. Suddenly Myles finds himself the only thing standing between the townsfolk and the ravenous eldritch beings breaking through the cracks in reality.

For the few following this story, I have not sacked it off and fully intend to finish it. But I'm very recently a new Dad and that has taken a lot of adjusting too. be back soon!

Great to have a fun old fashioned absurd action comedy in this place. It makes a great escape from the edgelords, shut-ins turned harem lords and cultivators well, sitting and cultivating I guess.
love to see someone taking the genre seriously by providing inane dialogue and overly contrived situations. (That may sound like a piss-take, but if you know toku, you understand)
loving the story. Keep it up!
