- BullerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Might be because it is russian. Not too sure on that front, since I couldn't really find anything that confirmed this idea. Yet the naming since of nearly everything most definitely reminds me of the style that is normally used in such works. Still a bit sad that I never saw mention of a greedy hamster.
The style is pretty damn good, as stated before. I have no complaints in this regard, even if some of the set-ups are a little obvious. Not the worst critisim in the world but still.
Characters are fun enough. Especially when you add in that they all have some gear on their bodies. The idea about stealth stopping the flashy enchantments from being seen was pretty dang good to read, even if it wasn't the most far-out idea.
The general idea of magetech is actually pretty good. It's a subgenre in itself for a reason, with a load of goad ideas surrounding it. This story doesn't fail in that regard, building a setting that uses the tools set up for it flawlessly.
5/5 from me.
