In the contemporary world, one has to know how to defend oneself against the supernatural, right? An ordinary boy, Suzuki Ren, moves to a remote city in Japan after his parents suddenly abandoned their home (?!) to go on a long romantic trip. In this city, he discovers the true oddities of the world, and that perhaps he was not as ordinary as he thought.
