A devastating earthquake suddenly hits an assuming city in India, one in which political corruption runs deep. A panicked office worker, who is our MC, noticing the incoming danger, attempts to escape his office building through the fire exit.

And in that process, he meets his untimely end as the entire building collapses.

His soul travels to the underworld, alongside others, to get their accumulated memories erased and begin a new life in a new body.

Our MC thus faces a dilema.

He is inherently lazy, and in his previous life, he had been worked to the bones by his employers.

So the first option which grants him unlimited amount of time to laze about and do absolutely nothing seems like an epic prospect.

But the high-profile life, being a man with the task of executing an important mission from the Gods themselves which hold the promise of immense rewards seem way too tempting.
