Also the side characters are well written and don't act forced or completely irrational they act like people also the power of mc spikes but he dose not get any debuffs to simply push the story onward his growth not simply stunting because the narrative demands it also the world building is sound and the empires act like an empire would typically
- LoganAceRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am shocked that this is actually a good story given that it is at least partially AI assisted, on initial chapters i can see the AI voice dominate. But hey, it follows the template and it follows it well. I enjoy reading it.
MC feels like a person, and the side characters are decent at the least.
The world building is really good, the pace of the story is bit fast and some of the fight scenes are really well done.
Has significant potential, looking forward to seeing where it goes. - MauieWowieRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I’m really enjoying how Adrian Blackwood awakens his Source affinity and begins devouring all the elements fire, lightning, gravity, even life and time. The rapid escalation from the Academy to inter-galactic battles keeps things exciting, and the way his journey toward being the “Emperor of the Source” unfolds feels fresh. Great world-building, compelling lead, and I’m definitely looking forward to what comes next. Highly recommend.
- Nate MaloneRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I can't believe I've binge this in one setting. It's good really good. The MC is op but it fits. A little fast pace but thr author turns out chapters like he doesn't sleep. Definitely love the world building its kinda like swallowed star. The fight scene are amazing 👏 and the mc's powers and applications are something I've never seen before. Good job author truly a hidden gem.
- RajeskSkRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story has a lot of potential. The power scaling is insane. I thought the MC might get a little boring because he was so perfect, but the story throws some serious challenges at him that force him to re-evaluate his strength, which was a great twist. The world building is massive and the action scenes are well done. Worth checking out I'm looking forward to the next chapters.
Highly recommended! - VoidSpecterRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It is a fun read and worth your time reading it. It is a bit faster paced than other stories, but there is enough going on to flesh out the story and not make it seem like a race to the finish line. The MC and those around him are well balanced as well.
- djodj3nRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is my old review:I’ve read a lot of cultivation and progression stories, and always want someone to wield the source of everything! this is just what i was waiting for!The pacing is quick (sometimes a bit too quick, but never boring), and the worldbuilding gets bigger really fast. The MC is strong, and there’s actual weight behind his choices. The focus is mostly on Adrian (the MC), I’d like to see the side characters fleshed out more as the story grows.Overall, this is worth following. It’s not flawless, but it’s consistent, creative, and delivers on what it promises.here is the updated one:The latter arcs where he leaves the earth and goes to space is where things gets much better.Back on earth arc their were flaws in the story, but later down the line, it became better.Especially the parts where he starts his clan! The Grammar and style of the story is fine. For the character i hope the author shows more of others. The side characters got some scope now as the story goes on, but i want to see more.Overall the story is improving and becoming better, while it had issues on initial parts, you would get addicted on later.
- HarverstOneRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0In most cultivation stories, it is common for the MC to grow stronger and gradually leave behind friends and family who can no longer keep pace with him. At best, most MC's occasionally return, bringing them to a higher realm or sheltering them in some pocket world so they can remain nearby.
In this novel, however, the MC chooses a different path. Rather than merely carrying those close to him forward, he actively works to help them grow alongside him, ensuring they can truly survive, adapt, and keep up with the new realms he enters.
That's really a refreshing perspective to see. - EddieMRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I've been looking for a story like this for awhile. Mages that are actuallly (or mostly) mages facing the desperation and social methodology that I believe the world would enact in the event of a worldwide calamity and magic was available.(spoiler)... I've always thought that cities would be fortresses, and this story shows how a society would adopt a warrior mentality. Think Spartans but with magic. Very enjoyable.
- RizeresRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5So for me the first 30ish chapters were so boring, but I'm glad i pushed through. I would even go as far to say a re-write of the first 20-30 chapters might be worth it.Why? minor spoilers for the first 25ish chaptersWell first the MC keeping his powers super secret. There is nothing to point to the world chaining him down if they learn he can copy powers. If he was more open about it maybe he could have gotten stronger faster, less risk of early death with his classmates.Second the academy as a whole. he spent like 5 day there? he went from arriving to graduating in what 14 days? Also the academy could have sent him like basic abilities of all or some of the elements. was nobody watching him use the fireball and said "huh he is that good with only a week of using it?"Still once he graduates and puts that all behind him it starts getting much better. After chapter 30ish the story starts getting much better though. A little fast passed at times but not so much that it feels rushed. At its core is a MC that grows in power my leaps not steps. So if you like that kind of thing you will enjoy this. Other characters are there more to be cogs in his machine than anything. Even his parents most defining feature are that they sometimes get to say "Good job son, i am proud".One thing that i feel the story could use a touch of is downtime or comedy. A chapter of him just having dinner with his parents would be nice.Might sound like i am nit picking a lot and well i am. But i still liked this story enough to read all of it (Plus the patreon). It's pace keeps you reading, wanting to see what crazy thing the MC will do or break next. The bad guys are rather plain, but you wanna see them crushed all the same.Overall worth a good weekend binge.
