- BlueGuardianRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story seems to be a hybrid of a slice of life genre and minor elements of an action genre. However our "hero" is just an ex-street kid who survived to adulthood and can't get any guild to take him seriously. So his very understandable solution is to run away from the danger. His mental attitude and System skills at fleeing have apparently cast him as the unstoppable delivery man. Good thing he just got a job delivering OP pizzas.I doubt Alex will ever truly save the day. But it's not that kind of story. We get to watch him slowly find self worth and earn respect in a dangerous urban fantasy world. It's kind of like reading an old tv show or radio play where our hero has to overcome the latest absurd situation or dastardly plot. It's great!

The summary is spot on, and I look forward to more dungeon runs and all the things they hold. No grammar issues that I've seen so far, and it's been a fun ride so far!
- Captain LouRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Fun take on the genre. Up to chapter 18 and loving it all so far. It makes it easy to enter the genre as a reader without the need to explain the premise. The story so far has been interesting and entertaining and absolutely hunger inducing. I feel like I'm as hungry as Alex whenever I read about him walking into Ninos.
- ChaozFishyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Another entry in the great trend of normal people trying to survive after magic. Magic Pizza delivery, that's definitely a solid premise.
This is silly in all the best ways. The MC feels real and relatable. I've got a feeling this is going to be a good one to watch. - Collec2rRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Clicked on it on a whim from a reddit post.
No regrets. Fun story about Pizza Delivery Boy. Nice change of pace from the ones where the MC levels up by fighting. This guy levels up by running away.
Hope it doesn't end soon. Can't wait to see where this leads. - DatateqRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This made me think of ‘The Deliverator’, which is one of my favorite characters that shoulda had more screen time. Overall the plot is fun and the MC is relatable. The world-building is on point and the backstory on the employers is interesting. A really good story and I am looking forward to the next book. Thank you for sharing your time and creativity.
- DocArmageddonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Really a fantastic story. Witty banter. 3 dimensional characters. ACTUAL character growth. You consistently don’t know what’s going to happen next. There’s enough world building that you get the gist of what’s going on but there’s still a lot of mystery, but not so much that it’s pages and pages of filler exposition. I could go on and on but seriously you should give this a chance.
- Dominick RRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Humor abounds as a well lived is explored as a broke, down on his luck, guy takes the only job that is willing to take him. Pizza delivery man. the premise is simple, the execution is brilliant, and the laughs just keep coming. Slice of life meets, at times, raunchy humor, to form an appetizing dish for the majority of consumers.
Style: Third person narrative with Alex being the only POV so far. A descriptive masterpiece of a true connoisseur of food, you can tell the love is there with every description which set a rumble through my own stomach as i read.
Grammar: Spelling errors here and there, but the author fixes them quickly and is easily forgivable with the nature of writathon being a strain on all. Capitalization is where it belongs, periods, commas, and indentations make it an easy to read joy.
Story: this is where it's shining. Alex is living in a fully fleshed out world that is offered in thin glimpses of his day to day life in post System toronto. This world feels lived in and has a depth that one can just sink their teeth into. You read and just want more!
Character: Alex is our MC but he's not the only one around. The slowly expanding cast of side characters is adding a depth that is a hallmark of the best slice of life stories. Can't wait to be introduced to more and spend more time in this world. - Dust94Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0To me such an original. Very fun very lighthearted with systems and dungeons. The monsters are painted in a good light with slightly murderous tendencies probably by nature but it’s a great twist and light read when you just need to relax. Highly recommend giving it a try from just another simple reader.
- A.TanabeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is great. It is written from a millennial Canuck’s pov of Torono (yes I spelled it like that, iyk yk) in this alternate reality of systems and dungeons melding with our world. This is an opinion based upon reading 14 chapters of this story, and I find that it is geared towards a heterosexual male audience. It’s not a bad thing; it is just the way it is. The story is lively, comedic and rambunctious because of the characters and their interactions with one another. There is the cute stereotype of Italian elders with a somewhat exaggerated accent in their speech. The author uses his grandfather as the inspiration for Nino and Nina’s speech pattern (chapter 2 comment section page 1, SagaScribe’s reply to HamsterDesTodes). There is also the zaniness of Mary and Jemin’s laidback stoner brother from another mother vibe which gives more punch to this story. The goal of having a job and surviving an expensive city that keeps on raising its costs is relatable and described in a realistic manner despite the fantasy setting. The writing is accessible and poetic in the description of food and the dungeons/places with the background characters. There are interesting themes going on with a few plots happening with the major plot for Alex’s survival. There are spelling errors, typos and minor editing stuff, but SagaScribe has remained faithful in translating that Italian for us and readers have caught some of the errors and wrote about them in the comments. All in all, this story seems to be a light-hearted slice of life.
