Dungeon Core: Bugged Ascension

Description
With the cosmologically recent arrival of Mana, the forces that govern the souls of the world seek out other dimensions and realities to barter for those better adapted. To make Dungeon Cores.
It is now the Age of Legends. Only the most diligent of historians can even imagine the Time Before Mana, and yet it is a young thing, nevertheless. Villages, cities, kingdoms and even species rise and fall as Life Itself adapts to the terrible wonder that is Mana.
Our story focuses on the outskirts of one such frontier village. Many lives merely go through the motions, while still others seek to wrest control of Mana and become more than their Sleeping counterparts. Some few have Awoken, trained themselves and sought Challenges to step into the ranks of the Epic, and now seek out more. To become Legends... To perhaps even become Myths and join the Ageless few of War, Famine, and Greed.
No journey is without its beginning and no real power achieved without Challenge. With the greatest Challenges of them all being Dungeons. Alien minds with truly fantastic powers, creating monsters and puzzles from Mana whole cloth and refining that dangerous power into something more useful to the ordinary creature.
But... What happens when a Dungeon Core wakes too soon? Before its mind and soul are scoured clean. What wouldyoudo if you woke to a new life as a Dungeon Core.

as a small critique sometimes it is hard to tell who is talking due to the sometimes infrequent dialogue tags, but it is a minor complaint. - SyntheticAberrationRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Disclaimer: I'm very biased towards any story featuring a non-human MC...
If you enjoy the whole dungeon core and non-human lead type story, then definitely check this one out.
Our MC is an error who becomes a dungeon core, he has a unique affinity I haven't seen in other dungeon core novels and I feel like it's going to be very exciting. I'm not quite sure how unique this affinity/dungeon theme is at the moment but it's definitely uncommon and underestimating it, letting things...fester, so to speak is a bad idea. I don't want to spoil too much. He has just enough memories and intelligence to keep things interesting so we're not left with an MC who expresses his desire to go back to a dark room eating McChickens. He does have some strong flashes of emotion like rage...and love, I'm actually kind of unsure how I feel about the love stuff but I'm enjoying the story so far. You'll come across this in the first or second chapter so I'm still hard pressed to flag this with a spoiler tag. Ah, did I mention he's not some system slave. I left most of this as a giant block of text because I'm too lazy to change it, apologies.
The grammar is solid, there may be a few issues, you're not likely to notice. The story and dialogue flow naturally making it easy to read. The author did mention some issues they're having with the website so the 'system text' doesn't stand out as much as it could. It is an almost stream-of-consciousness type of writing but the story has nice pacing because the author has found a way to skip the tedious 'grind'.
I do see a lot of potential with this story but I am hoping for a little bit more...I don't know if world building is the word but insight into the world. Maybe it is world building, I don't know...
He's essentially a baby dungeon operating with whatever resources something his age operates with. Eventually it would be nice to see more of the area that he inhabits though. I know people have mixed feelings on how dungeon core stories go, I tend - boaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Confused as f@ck, but still in love with this amazing story. I hope to see it have many more chapters.
This story definitely needs some getting used to though. The author is very heavy on obfuscation and weird perspective.
the protagonist is not op, yet, but I’m seeing it slowly coming up
