For him, a rejuvenating vacation to a world of magic is now only a good night’s rest away. As Demund explores his new world, reality around him begins to change. How will he manage to balance their existences together? Author's Note: It's going to be a very long story. While it may be unrefined in the beginning, stick around and enjoy as the story grows.

In the story, the MC's world is filled with magic and super-powers, where people are mainly judged based on what power you're born with. The MC, instead of being born with a overwhelming super-power, is instead born with the power to dream a long time in one sitting. While not exactly exciting on it's own, the dreamscape he's in is a a world filled with magical beasts, swordfighting, and you guessed it, magic. Obviously better then his slightly-above average life, right?
Due to this over time the story shows how he becomes less and less detached with the real world, in the end only a crush on a girl really keeping him connected with the real world as he stops playing games, talking with his family, and doing extracurricular activites. At the same time the Author makes us truelly care about this by making the characters feel real, with real personalities and feelings, and not filling the cast with Couragous-spiky_haired-kid#20145 or Quirky-pink_haired-schoolgirl#901543.

This is emphasized in the story when he loses one of his legs in the real world, disconnecting him from it even more.

Athough admittedly slow-paced, I feel it works with the story because it shows much better his slow descent into indifference to the real world than any fast-paced story could. In the end due to all this I believe this story at this moment deserves to stand with some of the best in Royal Road.

Loving the series! Intersting twist/combination of the transferred to another world and superpower school stories. The two parts of the story seem kind of seperrated right now (2.28) but i'm sure there's a way they will become more interlinked.

Ok, author wasnt joking, this story is veryyy slow. It will not be constant action, there will be moments and chapters of pure conversation but the author does this in such a way as to never lose your attention unless you truly are reading for pure action. In which case I recommend you turn around now instead of critiscising a book on something it isn't nor was made to be. However, if you want a fulfilling read with a good plot and an amazing balance of two MC's in one, this is definitely for you.
All I can say without spoiling but it was certainly a good read.

This is my favorite story on RoyalRoad aside from Mother of Learning. It’s just so much fun to read.
The story shifts perspectives as the main character lives two lives simultaneously (no time travel). One takes place in a fantasy world with magic, where he is born there as a baby and his original world is a modern one filled with superheroes. I won’t spoil to much in the review, but it’s an interesting spin on the reincarnation genre.

Super hero world AND reincarnated into a fantasy world. By all rights this story should be a hot mess of wish fulfillment and bull shit. Instead I read a wonderful duet of the two genres.
Now if I'm being honest there's not really that much new here. MC swaps between try hard normie in one world and OP Hero-kun in the making in the other world. But what is a refreshing New take is the interplay of the two different versions of himself. The Author cleverly weaves what are essentially two different stories together by giving them the same protagonist and letting the story progress naturally with this concept as its core. Now the pacing is a little slow but that works to show how the MC is really growing as a character.
All in all wonderful story and I can't wait to see how it continues.

I fear that either author or i may not live to see the end of this story.
Don't get me wrong, he's(and me, too) in perfect health as far as am aware, somewhere in his twenties currently.
It's just the george r.r. martin situation.
Story is massive, detailed(and somewhat slow because of it) and good.
It's just, with current pace and quality of writing, with new subplots popping up pereodically, i can't see the author finishing it in the next 5 years without dropping the quality or going for shitty abrupt endings.
Am fine with that, just keep it in mind when you start reading.
