Don’t Look Back

Mary-Ana has never left her small town in the hills of Tennessee. Her mother was a famous singer who left for Nashville but ended up going a lot farther than that and never came back. She was raised by her father, but he has fallen sick and she’s struggling to support him. Liam is the son of a wealthy oil tycoon. He lives fast in New York City, but when his risky choices catch up to him, he is sent to live with his cousins in a small town in Tennessee. There, he is able to continue his bad habits until a run-in with Mary-Ana sends them on a journey and changes their lives for good. Set in 1955.
