Demon King Jurao discovers that the castle gardens have a secret caretaker - a human! After seeing the man's good work over the past ten years, Jurao decides to make Braelin the official Royal Gardener. Now he just has to figure out why everyone seems to think he has a romantic interest in the human... A note on the content warning tags: The "graphic violence" tag is primarily in use in relation to descriptions of how the carnivorous garden plants handle their victims, which may be disturbing to some readers. There is rarely active violence in the story itself. The "disturbing content" tag is in relation to traumatic events that have occurred to characters in the past and their current affect on those characters, not in relation to current story events.

Demon King’s Gardener is an amazing slice of life story filled with breathtaking world building, lovable characters, and delightful representation.
The two main characters are especially adorable and relatable.
ten out of ten, five stars, I can not recommend this story enough to anyone looking for a nice, comforting romcom.

This is one of the best stories I've ever read, regardless of medium. It was so hard to put down the book that I skipped breakfast and lunch. I will be avoiding spoilers and specifics since the blurb is accurate and I would not be able convey the emotions and themes that are explored by summarizing nuanced scenes.
The story promises a cozy, low stakes, interpersonal story and it over delivers by an order of magnitude.
The Grammar and spelling are top notch. However due to semi-frequent use of neo pronouns, I suspect people who are unfamiliar will need some time to adjust.
The Style complements the characters greatly; it gives the feelings and vibes of a personal recounting. Allowing a less formal and more vulnerable atmosphere without stealing the spotlight from this books greatest strength, Characters.
Speaking of characters, they are the bread, butter And jam of this story. I've never confused two of even the minor ones with fantasy demon names, because each one is so fleshed out and interesting. You want to know them, spend time with them and see how they react to different things! Having low stakes allows them to breath and make sub optimal Choices, showing who they are, without needing the plot to twist into knots.
The Story, plot and world building are all engaging on their own too, but also interesting in a way where you want the characters to experience them too.
Overall, relationships are the core of this story, and regardless of what kind of relationship, it is explored in a relaxed environment with the appropriate pace. I highly recommend Demon king's gardener.

An engaging aro-ace romance. The mains sell the story, with some interesting side characters to add some variety to the slice of life story.
Characters develop at a steady pace as we learn more about them. All good stuff.
    Grammar is good.
It does have fanfic intenseness and shall I say strangeness to its minor sexual content.

Funny, sweet, entertaining! Great characters ! I really invite you to read this story ! Tho some part might be strange enough to detract some everything else is great enough to dismiss it. Beside a very good story, it's also teaching me a very different way of seeing the world, and i'm greatful for that.
As for the writing, it's good. My only problem is the info dump about characters appearances. In one of the chapter, we had like six différent people described, all important people, but since we did'nt Know any of them at the time, i did'nt manage to remember their description when we got to Know them better... But beside that minor flaw, the writing IS fairly food.

This story is best read in very large chunks, probably full volumes at a time. If you're not binging it but just following along as it comes out, you're not likely to follow much of what's going on.
Not that much is going on, which is part of the problem; this story suffers from significant character bloat, as more characters are frequently introduced, but almost none of them have much to do, and fewer have any significant development. They all introduce themselves, get a physical description (which you aren't likely to remember), an explanation of their connection to some existing characters (which almost all of them have), and some of their personal history, and then make brief conversation (large parts of which often consist of existing characters re-explaining things to the new ones that the audience already knows) before, for the most part, not doing anything that affects the narrative. Entire chapters can and do consist of nothing but this, such as the most recent one as of this writing.
This makes the pace of the actual plot very, very slow, and difficult to follow if you're reading chapters as they come out because it might have been a month or more since the last significant development.
Underneath the incredibly slow pace and character bloat, there's a very interesting worldbuilding setup I'd really like to see more of, with glimpses of an interesting magic system, several pantheons, and an intricate world setup with each having its own residents and culture, but even after nine volumes all of that's been experienced mostly through other characters talking about it; we very rarely see any perspective other than our main cast's, and they haven't been traveling.
One bit of worldbuilding that sadly hasn't really resonated with me is the demons' regular use of neopronouns. They is fine, but looking back at the character list from last December (180!) there's also E, Fos, Ce, and Fae. Their use is justified in-world--each definitely means something specific to
