I enjoyed this story where the MC does get a better opportunity. Damien is a boy with a heart of gold who sacrifices his all to save his pet kitten muffin and doing so recieved the blessing of a goddess.
The characters are cute in an anime style and the intimacy too is more cute than explicit. Yes there is a harem but that's what I like. The girls are not brainwashed and the mc is no boor.

I personally enjoy harem stories, this one is shaping up to be a good one of those. The sex scenes are interspersed, but not the most detailed. I don't mind the way they are written currently, but I could see others wanting them removed or delved into more deeply. If I had to choose from removal or deeper dives in the sex scenes I would prefer the latter of the deeper dive.
I found the other reviewers alternate title amusing, "Goddesses Like Cats and So I Got Sent To Another World With a Cat That Doesn't Look Like a Cat, What a Wonderful Blessing!" I would second this as an alternate title or tagline because it is both humorous and touches on setup to the story.
Also, Slime Girl and soon to be Fox Girl before the much over done Cat Girl is greatly appreciated by me personally. Fox Girls IMO are just better Cat Girls :D

It's a simple novel, cute characters featured in a wish fulfillment harem package.
If you're just starting with isekai / LitRPG novels, i could recommend this one to get a glimpse into the genre, but if you're looking for deep characters, epic fantasy or complex emotions then look elsewhere.
Overall its an okay read for a short distraction.

I couldn't get into this book at all as a hetero male. The main character is in his twenties and has had sexual partners but he just acts like a young boy just entering puberty. He is also weaker than all of the females in his party. For harem books to work, it needs to be male power fantasy and Damien isn't cut out for it.
