(Note: I’m really bad at summaries imo)

A story set in a con! That's actually something I've been thinking of for quite some time. Glad to find a story right up my alley.
With that in mind, it should be easy to guess that I quite enjoy this story's Style. It's got pizzaz, and the prose helps sell the city of Cap Flortia as a seaside abode. I was admittedly a little curious as to whether this city was an Earth-city or a fantasy city on another world early on. Perhaps some more pop cultural cosplays could be mentioned to set the stage?
Story-wise, it's actually quite some time before the isekai elements show up. This gives the early chapters a kind of slice of life, slow burn-y feel to the proceedings. I'm definitely hooked on the premise alone though.
Grammatically, there are few complaints. Maybe a couple bits of dialogue could be edited a bit, but there's little to cause problems with legibility.
Character-wise, there's a modestly-sized cast of characters that's introduced pretty quick. They could potentially have some more defining moments to the individual cast members early on. But I'd say they get the job done.
As mentioned previously, it's a kind of story I was hoping to see for awhile so I'm definitely going to follow along as the story progresses.

Chaos Convention certainly has a strong style and the author sticks to it. If you're not comfortable with narrative "tags" like "sweatdrop" or other anime-like actions, you may be turned off by the style. However, I thought that the light-hearted, casual tone fit the easy-going nature of the story. The first several chapters are an exploration of a delightful anime convention by a group of friends, so there's lots of jokes and fun to be had.
    Grammar: 4/5
There were periodic spelling and grammar mistakes that could be easily fixed with a pass on Grammarly. Nothing egregious, but a quick spell-check/grammar-check would add a star.
    Story: 5/5
I started reading Chaos Convention not really knowing what to expect. The author had noted that it was a bit of a comedic litRPG with a light-hearted tone. That all sounded promising, so it was with great pleasure that I discovered that Chaos Convention delivers on that promise. The first several chapters feature a close-knit group of friends touring around an anime convention in the fictional town of Cap Flortia. We get to watch them participate in different cosplay competitions and fun events, but there are hints of magic and adventure that reveal Cap Flortia is anything but mundane. I love the care that the author has taken with the worldbuilding. I never got the feeling that exposition was being force-fed to me or that I was lost in a sea of proper names. The world revealed itself through short but memorable descriptions and the fun back-and-forth between the group of friends.
    Character: 5/5
This is where Chaos Convention shines. There's a fairly large cast of characters, but they're all fun to read about and they each have distinct personalities. The joking is fun and light and you begin to really get to know the characters in the first few chapters before the action really gets going. I won't spoil anything here, but chapter 8 is where things really get started in this story. You'll definitely want to keep reading

There's a vivid world here with a lot to take in - a lot of it new and inventive, while a lot of it is also familiar, what with the world of cosplayers, vtubers, and the like, there is a lot of niche culture on display here that I think really matched the whole style of the fiction. Its style is impressive, I'd describe it almost as anime-inspired, which is of course so appropriate. I can very easily picture some sort of meta-anime-world when I'm reading this, and I love that.
The pacing may put some readers on the fence, though I do hope to potentially push them over it.
This work gives a timeline from beginning to inciting incident that, for say a novel, would actually be pretty fast paced, but here as a webnovel I'd be concerned some people might miss out on something they'd really like because they are used to breakneck pace - regardless of the fact that plenty of chapters are readily available. That said, the chapters before the incident are a delight, very charming, and make me wonder if this author has written slice of life before - though they've also got some fun foreshadowing.
Now, here's the thing about the story pacing - it almost feels like a horror story getting set up. Of course this is more of an action adventure, with a good deal of wish fulfillment, but there is foreboding feeling that I as a horror fan really enjoyed in the beginning. Something to keep in mind.
Grammar: There were a couple of typos here and there, but nothing to make a big deal over - this looks like it's been revised and reads as such. There are some cool, unique formatting choices for dialogue-esque sections that I enjoyed, too.
Character: The characters really shine in this fiction. They are, essentially, a bunch of nerdy anime fans who are also friends, old and new, and their rapport really sells the story in a lot of ways. They make it easy to invest in the story, and make the stakes raise higher when the incident does happen.
