Caretaker's Call

Adelaide never asked for much—just a normal, stable life. A wish that remained out of reach throughout her turbulent adolescence. Just as she thought she was finally finding her footing, she was swept into darkness... literally.

Now stranded in a mysterious new world, Adelaide’s only clue is the cryptic voice of "The Caretaker of Here and There." With nothing but her wits and will to survive, she must navigate a land where monsters and magic have become her new reality.

But why was she brought here? Can she uncover the reason behind her summoning—or will this strange world consume her first?

Author's note:I've never truly written anything before in my life, but I've always wanted to tell a story. This is my very first story I've wished to share.
