The land is rife with monsters and famime but among them are great heros called Warsouls who are fueled by bloody conflict. Everything they kill fills there cup of mana allowing them to expand there power. This has created a fractured land beset by war and famine, where the strong rule and the weak must survive between the hordes of ever present monsters and the bloodthirsty warlords. Our stpry follows a young man who joins the Famine Crusades for the sake of his family following the death of his father and a young girl who has a rather curious encounter with a book during a heist.
