A solid well paced fan fiction with consequences for the foreknowledge the MC returns with.
There be butterflies here.
The characterization is very well done.
Each perspective shift away from the main character is short and to the point, not taking away from his story or distracting from him.
The only possible improvement would be to throw in links to the Wiki for each character introduced for those that did not read or watch the original series.
