But when a routine bust reveals a cache of illegal chips and a military-grade Exo-Warframe, Aster stumbles onto something far deadlier than black market implants.

A mysterious figure known only as "Aeon" has marked him, and the trail of blood and broken tech is just beginning. With corrupt officials blocking his every move and enhanced killers on his tail, Aster navigates the twilight-shrouded streets of New Houston while his own experimental enhancements threaten to tear him apart from within.

He'll find Aeon alright, but Aster is going to uncover much more than he bargained for.

What to expect: This story is not Cyberpunk. There are some similar themes and tropes, but this story isn't about the fight between dystopian MegaCorps vs the common man, though there is a lot of cross-over between technological and societal themes. This is not LitRPG/GameLit, but there will be some visual system progression elements. This story should be relatively fast paced. It will have elements of mystery, action, political corruption, personal growth, among other things:

Various forms of digital/artificial intelligence. High-tech enhancements and implants. Disgusting street level flesh crafted enhancements and modifications. Punchy, fast paced action. Elements of quisi-noir gumshoe investigation.

Chapter Length: Between 2k-4k words, depending on what's going on in the chapter.
