Description

Joshua had lovely friends that he cared for very much. They had a good relationship, but they liked the play big, and boast, in bets. He was the standing winner in the last soul wager. It seemed the universe took it entirely seriously, and he was sent to hell on passing, along with his friends. He owned them all, a bargain is a bargain, but he doesn't want to start things with torturing his friends. There had to be another way to approach this.

    Interested to see how this goes.  Though I understand there's supposed to be a joke in the dealing cards for blackjack but playing poker.  I don't get it.
    The characterisation is well done so far, I'm assuming more will be built as time goes on.  It's always a touch awkward before more is developed when doing a "starting at X point in a story" chronology, where X is not "when it all started" but having to refer to events that have already occurred.
