I didn’t expect this to be so good. After the recent flood of copy paste in the RisingStars, I was hesitant even to scroll it. The cover got my interest so I started reading and damn.Story’s kind of simple without too much numbers and stuff which is refreshing for me. But there’s still Level Ups and Skills. Got me hooked with just a few chapters, and now I’m excited for more chapters. I feel that there’s a grand story ahead, can’t wait!

This is top notch literature.
The characters are great. Thoryn actually reads and feels like a Barbarian Philosopher and its not just a plot device to make MC overpowered. The side characters feel fleshed out with their own flaws and strenand realistic. The prose is descriptive easy to read and makes the action easy to follow.
Needless to say I'm a fan.

An ambitious mix of contradicting themes, a Philosopher Major graduate in a Barbaric warrior's body. This contrast is hard to execute and as of now, the author is able to make both themes coexist but the question is can they keep this up?The premise is compelling and niche in its own, the grammar and the delivery of the story in itself is remarkable.The consistency of the perspectives offers the reader with a journey without the usual jarring experience.The characters are well built, each with their own personalities that makes them feel more alive and relatable for the readers enough to invoke emotional attachments.The 'show don't tell' narrative is the greatest strength of it, each fight scene will evoke your imagination. The story is a great blend of action and philosophy and it takes great skill to combine both themes.This fresh new idea though rich in its own, is risky as it's easy to fall to cliché wherein the "philosopher" ends up being a generic scholar instead.But I'm proud to preach that the author is able to handle that risk with skill. The grammar is without error and the fluidity of the story is not impacted by too many anecdotes.
The story in my opinion is off to a good start and if it's not abandoned I will enjoy reading it very much.

This has everything to be one of the best stories in RR and I'm here for the ride. Definitely support so we can keep this book alive and see how the story unfolds. Amazing story so far, I can't wait to see where it goes. Unfortunately I must for it is not hey complete 😢
The philosophy has mostly been hinted at so far, but the last two chapters (37,38)... Oh wow that was great. Definitely shared some quotes from those, and a few of the funnier moments earlier in the story but those were good in a thought provoking manner. At least for those who haven't had those thoughts numerous times before.
Sure our mc has barely had a true challenge for most of the story but things are picking up and I expect that will change. They've mainly been able to easily over power or outmanoeuvre every obstacle within a paragraph with little harm suffered, but they've MOSTLY done so without hand wavy "because the author said so" themes. I like it, but still looking forward to more as stated.
Check it out, I promise it's worth some time.

Just read chapter 1, such an engaging start with a unique skill system and immersive world-building. The lead's situation is intriguing, and the Direwolf's traits add depth. Promising story with plenty of potential. The story is very engaging and entertaining, it's blend of fantasy and RPG elements is well-executed. 4/5 stars.
