Description

It's a world of fantasy - magic, swords, war, a demon lord. But Felix didn't really want any glory. Maybe after a long time. But it was a much better idea to grow slowly and hide in the corner, and live a comfortable life. Once he turned 18 and unlocked his inner potential, he could slowly build his strength, in a non-descript corner of the empire.

But then, the Battle of the Crimson Plains happened. Almost all of the human forces got wiped out.

Felix got drafted. He got sent to the front lines at 18. This was a terrible turn of events. He got attacked on his own by a demon mage, and dropped deep, deep into the earth.

I wonder what he will find down there?

Interesting back story that drew me in. The plot was smooth, and I enjoyed the story. Then, the MC's journey started. It quickly got contrived. Every interaction felt forced after chapter 15, the story stopped making sense and got kinda cringey.
I am not really invested in any of the characters yet, but I am hopeful that the characters and plot will get straightened out.
    Sources:
The soul search and lady boy thing are poorly written. It seems super contrived, and it really ruins the emersion.
The whole great yin spirit doesn't really make sense as a whole. Maybe later with more details, it will?
The castration and forced retirement scenes don't make any sense.
Probably worst of all is that there are 2 chapters that are dedicated to advocate the benefits of slavery. MC decided that he is going to abandon his morality and be a slave master after the dragon says that slavery is good... What?
