I'll start out by saying that I was one of the beta readers for the story. So I have read upto around chapter 25.
The story is what it is on the tin -- A LITRPG system apocalypse, where Earth is integrated into the multiverse.
It is action-packed, with great momentum throughout the book. The character arcs are well laid out; watching our MC (Zayn) first having to use traps to defeat the monsters, then slowly being able to fight toe-to-toe with them before leaving them in dust is incredibly satisfying.
The story is filled with humor, yet manages to sneak in the big hitting moments.
Where the book really shines is with the characters.
The MC is quite relatable (well... he is a bit of a madman, but who isn't), someone who is stuck in a job he doesn't love. Someone who channels all his love and passion into his motorcycle, trying to follow his hero's footsteps.
Oh, the side characters and the alternative POV's are soo good. Each one has a unique personality and a unique take on the situation. Expanding the world and story, adding quite a bit of depth.
Overall, this has been incredibly fun to read, and I would highly recommend y'all to give it a shot!

Often in these kinds of stories, the MC is presented as a loser in the pre-apocalypse world, but just misunderstood and actually superior post-apocalypse. So far, Zayn is just a loser who is able to resiliantly push through the doom he faces on the regular and advance in spite of the odds.

I am enjoying the book so far . I am in chapter sixteen,. The only thing that I can say badly is that there isn't very much information about anything so far. I hope that changes as the story progresses. You are a very talented writer and I thank you for sharing your story with us lowly people that is about all I have to say at this time . This is one of those absurd stories where a newbi is tossed in a [SYSTEM] blender and somehow doesn't get vaporized on go.
There us no beating around the bush probably the greatest thing of the early chapters is that you will find yourself trying to find the titlular movie on a search engine.
If you make it to the white room, things get intereting. new characters, better world building, extra PoV, even some snark from odd places.
Just enough goes right that the slowburn is a bit frustrating.
I do want to see where this one goes, but not chapter by chapter. I know I would get frustrated waiting for a fight to play out over multiple chapters.

So far the story is enjoyable, however the main problem for me is the MC's relationship with his family. If people stopped talking to me for years, I would not want a relationship with them and knowing people in a similar position, they kept their distance.
The MC needs to harden himself in regards to his family.

The writing is solid. I'm just constantly confused as to what is happening.
Example: Right at the beginning, Zain falls and almost dies. He activates a perk that makes his fortitude rise from being almost dead. Then he gets up and fights a golem, it seems that he gets more injured from the fight. Then he fights a few more.
Like what is going on?!!
What does close to death mean? Is he injured? Where? Is it impeding his movement? Is he passively healing and unaware?
He can defeat creatures made out of stone by the way. Why? Does he have some stone shattering capacity? When? How?
The next chapter: "Surviving crippling or life altering injuries was a biweekly thing for him." This is describing Zain pre-integration. Was he superhuman? I'm still confused.
This just isn't cohesive storytelling. I don't need to know everything, but I need enough information to justify the basic premise in order to want to find out what happens next.
I genuinely think there are some interesting bones here though. The different perks seem fun. Author, send me a DM if you do some edits so I can get through the early bits and I'll happily reassess the story

when I started reading this I had high hopes, but the author's tone, lack of cohesion, lack of editing, and poor character implementation make this much poorer than so many other novels on offer. I really wanted to like this novel, but it really needs some workshopping. I may come back to this novel and see if it improves as the author progresses, but at this time it reads as an early draft with potential.
