As Magnolia Petals Fall

Publishing Tuesdays - Fridays 1700 Eastern USA fisherman and a run-away both meet at the precipice of change within their lives. As they struggle to navigate the new world around them they learn to lean on each other, from an easy friendship to maybe something more, but the future offers not the opportunity for either to know love with those outside their new circles. With a noble family falling out of favor, one is forced to take up a mantle they don't desire and study for a commission. The other struggles on the edge of a knife living the life they read of in stories growing up, and learning that the romance of the knight errant isn't but a sweet fiction. This is a tale of danger, intrigue, friendship, romance, but most importantly to myself: the moments in between the grandness of adventure and action. This story will meander, and it might get lost on the way to its destination. I hope you enjoy the journey with me.
