Description
On the 19th of September 2017, a well-known novelist, Edward Wright dies by his own hand. An unknown time later, he wakes up elsewhere. In a world he spent so many nights writing.
This new chance at life; however, quickly turns into a nightmare. Due to his death, the world is falling apart, consumed by an ever-growing flame. The only one who can stop it? Edward himself, who has no idea how exactly.
To make matters worse, Edward's creations are not at all happy to see him, and they can't wait to pay him back for all the suffering the author wrote for them.

- Cedric The Rabbit SlayerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's hard to review this one without spoilers, but I'll do my best. The story has a bit of a horror/survival vibe, though it's not that pronounced until the chapter I'm at. Basically, the world is about to burn, and the MC must figure out a way to save it (while also struggling to stay alive until he can do so).
Style: The world feels submerged in darkness, like the MC is struggling through the night. There's a constant sense of danger, although there's also some unexpected chivalry/decenty from people you wouldn't expect.
Grammar: Excellent, no problems encountered. The sentences are written well, and the message is clear.
Story: One of the more original novels I've tried. It may be similar to a few others in terms of some aspects, but the twist is such that you won't notice the difference. It's very easy to get lost in the story, so it's pretty awesome.
Character: The MC is an underdog, a failure of sorts that's getting punished for crimes he may or may not be responsible for. It's like he stepped on an ant by accident, and now the ants have mutated and have made him his number one target. He is relatable, a bit weak, but you get where he's coming from.
Overall, great story, great premise, cool action, and a really good read! (especially if you're looking for a bit of a slightly spooky/survival story).
