Description

I was created as the ultimate dungeon trap: a living suit of armor that devours any adventurer who dons me. My master created me for his entertainment, leading adventurers to ruin and betraying them at the last moment. This time will be no different.

Or so I thought.

Now I'm living the life of an adventurer. Hopefully, my companions won't realize I'm not who, or what, they think I am.

This is a great book for a new author. Yes it is unedited and yes if you need to read a fully edited book you can wait to buy it.
The premise is a different view o. A story that is fresh and well thought out. I really enjoyed this book and hope others can too.

This was a fantastic read, I read it all today, absolutely loved every minute of it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a light read, and also if you have a couple hours to kill, you'll wish it could go on for longer, but you'll be satisfied with how it ends.
What Did This Story Have for Me?
    - An adventure story with a proper ending!
    - Plenty of laughs!
    - Lovable characters!
    - I was able to visualise everything so perfectly.
    - A third through the tale I was wishing I was the MC.
    - A good amount of suspense!
    - Literally could not stop reading from the first word until the last, I didn't take a break.
    - An MC that grows emotionally and discovers what it means to be more than your 'armor'.
    - The supporting characters each have their own identified style and personality, and they never overlap, or seem like they're just there to fill the word count, each are different and add their own flair to the tale.
I would heavily recommend this story to anyone reading this review.
Even when I've finished the last words I wish I could delve back into the world this story comes from, the world building was great, it was a really original world, I felt like I'd never read anything like this before, and I was loving every second of it. I've read a lot of LitRPG, Low Fantasy and High Fantasy series, books, webnovels, webtoons, comics, etc, and I have to admit, this goes right up there with my favorites.
The grammar was excellent, I even learned of two new things I never knew before!
If I had any complaint, even though the ending left me satisfied, it would be that there's no more!

The style of the writing is original, and the overall feeling is of an accomplished work. It has the good balance of adventure, suspense, intrigue, action, and most of all, humanity, even if the MC is not human at all. The development of the character and the world are very well done.

If you're looking for an entertaining and fresh take on an agonizingly well-trodden genre, then you might be interested in this story. The enjoyability of the characters is something really important, as having boring or unlikeable characters really kills stories of this sort. With that said, I think the author has established a solid core of characters to build narratives around, so I can say I would recommend this. It's got everything I want in a semi-episodic adventure story: it's charming, laid back, and has likeable characters.

Never thought the story about a suit of armour would be this interesting. I picked up this story because of its "Non-Human Lead" tag, thinking it would be something similar to other non-human stories. Where the only non-human part of the MC is their appearance. Instead I was pleasantly surprised by the authors way of handling it, managing to not make dear old rust bucket a 2D murderhobo, while also giving them a reason for their human like conscious and morals.
The story felt at times like a well planned D&D campaign, where the DM mashes together the players backstories beautifully, and other times it felt like it wandered outside of its comfort zone. Exploring new concepts and expanding upon the world. Implementing characters with depth, relevant backstories, and a plot worth exploring.
In conclusion, 10/10. Best rust bucket.
( PS, its armour, not armor ;) )

To begin the review, I am going to say this novel is, first and foremost, fun. It has its jokes, interesting world building, characters, character interactions, and last, but not less, a great MC.
The premise itself, a golem coming to term with his freedom and living the life of an Adventurer, is interesting enough, but rather than letting it be just that, the author has given us adventures, both self contained and interconnected due to an overarching plot, all while our main character tries to keep his true nature a secret. The story even throws some philosophical questions our way.
Grammatically the novel is sound and the narration is both entertaining and not too heavy, so that's another big plus.
I recommend this to fans of adventure fantasy. Not much has come out, but so far I love it.

Semi unique plot reminiscent of everybody loves chests, yet a lot more upbeat.
It has a very fast plot and frankly it's extremely refreshing, a lot of royal road fictions move a snails pace, but this around 4 times faster when it comes to actually moving around and getting things done.

This is a story about a sentient suit of armour. Created by an evil sorcerer to trick and ambush adventurers, the suit of armour starts to act on the strange sensations burning within his metal form.
Having slain his master, he must hide his true nature from his new group of friends, while exploring the world.
All the while, a mysterious faction seeks to destroy him.
Overall, a mid-high tier story, with good grammar and pacing. I am especially enjoying the fact that there is an overarching threat; an actual motivator for the plot to continue. In most stories of this kind, there is no actual reason for the story to even exist. Without the
Without the "Sons of Aurum" to threaten the main character, the plot could have ended with our main character betraying his master, and just cruising with his new adventurer buddies.
Because the Sons of Aurum are hunting our MC, he must actual engage in conflict, seek out and hunt the hunters in order to put an end to the threat, meaning the story has a motivation behind moving forward. We cannot just leave our MC here, because all is not well.
So if you're looking for an interesting read a plot that moves forward, you've found it.

A solid take on the nonhuman protagonist genre, our protagonist is a suit of armor working for a necromancer of sorts and then things... escalate. There's a mystery going around and beings capable of hurting the living armor and a dragon in hiding?
If that sounds like your cup of tea then let me add the cherry on top, a protagonist who takes an oath to be good to hide his identity, but then actually grows and learns and embodies their oath. There are cute scenes where he gets flustered with flirting and other moments that really jerk your heart around when you see his companions care.
Tldr it's a solid story, it's short and doesent overstay it's welcome, and although I have complaints about some of the pacing and what the protagonist does sometimes, I still think it's wonderful and worth a read.
