WARNING: This story was dropped around late 2024 and as of now is being re-written. This version is still available to read if you with to compare the newer version with this one.

What to expect: A intricate story with a lot of self reflection, slow progression, diverse species, a lot of cussing, politics and a no-nonsense main character.

Connor had a hard life, he punched faces hard and people gave him money. There was no other place for someone like him in this world other than the pits, he lived a rough life. If it wasn't for his good friend Carlos getting this job for him, he could easily be in jail right now. Even though he deserved it.

But destiny had another plan in mind. After dying in an unremarkable way he found himself in a strange world in a body of a nimble creature, that he was pretty sure was an elf. And now with the help of a quirky and elder primate he needs to find a way to survive and face the consequences of his poor decisions.

I’ve been following this story for some time now, and I have nothing but praise for both the work and the author. It’s evident that the author dedicates a significant amount of time to the intricate details of each chapter, and this dedication shines through in every line. Now, let’s highlight the parts that deserve special recognition.
Style 10/10: The narrative style throughout the entire read is captivating. Additionally, the perspective shifts, though rare, are always fascinating when they do occur. The only parts that might seem a bit confusing are in the initial chapters, but it’s remarkable how much the author evolves with each new chapter.
Story 10/10: One of the greatest strengths of this work is its engaging narrative. Every fragment of every arc grips me and keeps me captivated with each new chapter.
Grammar 10/10: The author demonstrates impeccable care with grammar. I have absolutely nothing to criticize in this regard.
Characters 10/10: For me, this is where the story truly shines. Each character, from the main ones to the supporting cast, is developed with impressive excellence and mastery. Every one of them is genuinely captivating. The protagonist, in particular, is incredibly realistic, and in many ways, I identify with him. The psychological challenges he faces throughout the story reflect the battles I’ve also faced. The author has truly outdone himself in bringing these characters to life.
In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend this work.

This is a very well written story, there few spelling errors and as the author is not a native speaker it doesn't matter and the writing is fluid enough that it doesn't foil the experience of reading. Although the Isekai part itself takes a while to get started, the story itself is fun, the characters are not two-dimensional and the author seems to be creating a complex and relatively realistic world.
The protagonist is your standard hot-headed, impulsive, violent person trying to control his impulses in an unfair unknown world, but you can see progress of his personality as the story goes on although he is still like an angry boar at times.
The highlight of the story are the combat scenes, the protagonist is not a hobo but he also doesn't hesitate to get into fights, and the author manages to bring well-described, interesting and colorful fights enought to entertain fighting enthusiasts.
If you're interested in what would happen if you threw a boxer with anger issues into a dark fantasy world, this story is for you.
