Everything in existence sings- the whisper of wind, the pulse of steel, the hum of the unseen.

Reborn into a world of cultivation, Cai Feiyin awakens with a gift unlike any other, the ability to perceive the oscillations of all things. To him, the world is a song waiting to be understood, shaped, and mastered.

But in a realm where power is forged through blood and will, those who hear too much may uncover truths never meant to be known.

And some songs, once played, can never be silenced.

I plan to write this story to completion, and based on what I have in mind, it will span at least 1,000 chapters. The first 20 to 30 chapters will be a bit slower-paced (more of a slice-of-life) to establish the foundation of his childhood, but once the story picks up, it won’t be slowing down.

What to expect:

A grand, dark immersive cultivation world with a mix of both eastern and western influence, that is gradually unfolded as the story progress (with eventual mythologies involved)

A calm, intelligent protagonist with the ability to perceive the oscillations around him

A unique cultivation system with my personal blend of Xianxia and eastern fantasy

A weak to strong, to strongest MC

Alchemist MC (with clear progression, involving both pills and artefacts, eventually leading to Runes)

Fully fleshed-out characters, with their own life and dreams

Eventual kingdom-building

Book 1 and 2 are complete at 270 000 words.

I discovered this story yesterday and today finished the last published chapter. So well written, character with actual depth and progression. A cute animal sidekick.
Alchemy and crafting are described well and all have their own little twist. The cultivation system is also well thought out and not just copy paste.
Smart, rational MC. Looking forward to this story and how it continues!

The incredible depiction of the characters and the depth to which they are described leaves you wondering how they haven’t hidden this behind a paywall yet.
Additionally the flow of the story and how the growth of the character, while fast paced, manages to feel entirely natural and even intrinsic to the story is next to none.

Really enthralling story to this point.  Not many grammatical glitches or spelling errors of note, just good storytelling balancing positive and negative emotions and characters.  Looking forward to where it goes from here.  I came to it just yesterday so never saw a slice of life tag, that would have been jarring indeed, because it is well written and therefore you feel strong emotional connection when the story inevitably takes a darker turn, but it gives a strong foundation for the main character and the story as a whole.  Well told tale!

Love literally everything about this. At first I almost didn’t want the story to progress past his early life in his village, and a part of me wished this was just a cozy story about a boy who grew strong in the comforts of his home village surrounded by his family and friends. But I knew he’d move on, be it from some violent circumstance or other unfortunate happenstance, which is practically a necessity for any good fantasy. A struggle.  An uphill climb. Something that gets your blood boiling and rooting for the underdog protagonist. And despite originally wanting him to stay in his quaint village, being pampered and learning from his beloved parents, I can say I fully endorse the direction you’ve took the story. Sure it’s cliché in a way, but you’ve done everything masterfully. Everything from the structure of the story itself and detailed mechanics/progression of the protagonists abilities/cultivation is done beautifully. Thank you and keep it up. I’ve just binged this series  (in it’s entirety so far) in a few hours whilst reading on my phone late at night (which is another testament to how well written this is) so sorry for any typos. I don’t really have any criticisms to make or anything else to add. I’ve now reached the required character count for the review. Thank you again.

    9.5/10
(0.4, cause i might have missed this entirely due to the pfp , seems to familiar to others and normal so changing would give it an good look)
I would recommend this to my fellow cultivation or even normal fantasy readers so give it a try.
Idk the deep cultivation readers standards but this good
Style: the way things are explained without too obvious and the settings are very nice. Well nothing bad to point out if anyone wondering.
Story: now this is very refreshing one , the settings is stil being built (at least where am now) but mc powers and how cultivation portrayed is very neat and new , the type of cultivation seems to be inspired from chinese mythology which is very nice.
Grammar: its good , nothing that bothers and smooth
Character: this is an good part, they are NOT 1 dimensional unlike many novels(mcs closest one) , every conversation as meaning and its portrayed in subtle manner thats feels nice to read
This feels like glazing but i liked this story and saw no review so i wanted to say its good and would recommend to anyone who are doubt about it.
You can expect actual long review from other iguess in future

This is one of my favorite stories on this site. I always look forward to seeing an update. I know some may of been turned off by some things that happen early on, but as someone who hates grimdark anything, it wasn't so bad it made want to drop the story. I also wouldn't go so far as to say the story is dark so far. While some hard things have happened, the overall feel for me is not one of it being dark, but one of hope for the MC.
One of my favorite things about this story is the MC. He's well balanced in that while he is a good guy, he also isn't someone who is a pushover. I also enjoy his cultivation, one part in which is unique as far as his oscillation sense. The one thing that has me not giving the story aspect a 5 is that as of late the MC has been getting unbelievably lucky for me. He has found the perfect things he's needed for every step of his cultivation lately. Now, this isn't unique in these types of stories, but every other story I've read has given these circumstances a plausible explanation rather it be fate, luck, or the gods. I hope the author does address this at some point.
The characters around the MC are also interesting to read about. His starting companions were awesome, and I look forward to their return to see how they've grown, but his current companions are also interesting because I wonder what all their circumstances were that led them where they are. As well as what they'll think, or how they'll react, when the MC makes his move.
The world continues to grow, and while there was something that I was apprehensive about that was revealed, as I continue reading I find myself looking forward to where the author takes it.
No real grammar issues that I've noticed either.
Overall, an amazing story with a cool MC and an interesting world that continues to grow. I would highly recommend any xianxia fans give it a try!

    Reviewed after about 100 chapters.
Story: The first 30 chapters are quite slow, as the author already mentioned. Don't be fooled by the reincarnation tag, while the protagonist has a unique gift, there is no past life he draws memories from. His soul is reincarnated, and the process did give him some insight, but we don't really know about something  a past life and it's not relevant.
This part is of the story mostly just our protagonist growing up and his loving parents training him in different aspects of life. His father has a background as a skilled warrior and instructs him on the martial path, while his mother is an exiled noble who imparts skills like music, negotiation and more on him. Not really exiting, but it set's a strong foundation for the rest of the story. And reading the first chapters you will be reminded quite often how important strong foundations are. It's mostly the writing that carries this arc in my opinion. Also in case you don't like the loving family dying as a plot point, don't worry, the parents don't die.
After those early chapters, the story really gets of the ground. I wont spoil it, but the tempo increases and real stakes are introduced. If you got until that part, you are in for a great ride.
Charakters: A point where this shines. I like the characters. Despite the anti-hero tag, our protagonist is a good person put in a bad situation. Not cruel, but also not above revenge or making someone suffer. Loving parents that also love each other. And later on a friend group that has really strong bonds and a good dynamic. You get attached to some even with little screen time. Since the protagonist starts quite young, it takes some time for meaningful motivations apart from the desire to learn to emerge, but that just means we get to experience these defining moments alongside the character.
Style: Great writing. One of the things that sets this apart from most cultivation novels. The Ideas are not entirely new, but the writing simply draws

Its a great story. While most in the genre tend to go for the full-shock n awe approach enough that any cozy beginning to a story has me dreading what happens to the characters the author has mastered the exact quantity of suffering to put the characters through for character development without drowning them in it. The cultivation system seems interesting though i still struggle with the order of things.
The core group is interesting and the MC's role as both the leader and an emissary is quite great.
Some of my gripes about the entire thing however is the fact that keeping track on time is a little hard. The MC seems too young to be the power level he is (though that might just be because I amn't able to fully keep track of the power levels).
Most of the cultivation tropes are thankfully avoided and those that aren't have been tastefully integrated so it doesn't feel like a turn your brain off and read type experience.

At chapter 105...still going strong. solid characters. great world building with immense possibilities for the future. let's see where it goes from here.
Getting a little tedious with the sect story context. hopefully that is not the end of the story. hopefully we can see the friends go into the wider world soon enough

Starts out with an interesting twist on reincarnation that quickly seems to have zero relevance to the story.  The early chapters are nice slice of life with pretty much standard cultivation.  Good character development early on as well.  However once that stops and it turns grimdark the quality really takes a drastic dip.  Its pretty much a slog of child abuse & a dash of SA with some murder on the side.  Plot inconsistencies abound with the MC and his friends able to do the impossible at a whim when the story calls for it and become average again when it doesn't.  Another reviewer equated it to throwing puppies into a wood chipper and that's pretty accurate.  Sort of a grim improve where a lot of ideas were smashed together but don't really fit.  A lot gets added then forgotten in the story.  Such as there doesn't seem to be a reason the MC is a child for the entire story other than shock value which falls flat as he acts like an adult from toddler on despite having zero recollection of a previous life.  For that matter any child that isn't a Star Trek red shirt behaves like and is portrayed as an adult at all times.  I really enjoyed the story early on but once it started to feel like the only hurdles the MC had were artificial "because I said so" type obstacles all that remained was a lot of shock value and not much else.
