- ellle_Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0After reading both parts I can tell that these 2 backstories were carrying very different moods.
Silvanus as a character reeking with pride and superiority complex as well as constant rage. Making it pretty obvious that he is the villain here. Overall his part didn't leave that much of impression on me, especially after reading Connor's part.
Oof, Connor's story was rough on my silly brain. Poor lad couldn't have a day without constant abuse from literally anyone from his family. But at least from what i have seen so far that carved out his character as an extremely flexible one. Will he be the "good" or "bad" guy is still hard to tell, from my point of view.
The world building. Seeing how these two brothers got to see two completelly different world views, Silvanus's part revealed a lot of the state of military affrairs and Connor's showed the church of Dharen, we see a very grim place that MAYBE partially mirrors some real world events.
Will definitelly keep following the story. Can't wait to be angry more))
