Description

A young girl stumbles upon a bandit’s loot, starting her on a journey into the world of cultivation. With no one to guide her she accidentally creates new techniques and ways of cultivating and the creation of magical items.

Join her on her adventurous road of discovery.

This story is fast paced. Lots happen every day. No repeating of previous happenings from multiple viewpoints to increase the word count. No time skips. The chapters are mostly 5-6k words in length. I like reading longer chapters so this is how I write. I can ‘get into’ the story.

There is mystery about the MC’s origins and how she is so OP. Remember, this is a fantasy and also a comedy. If you like a different take on cultivation, quirky characters and funny situations, then this could be your type of story.

A lot of thought has gone into designing a different way of cultivating, manipulating matter and energy, etc. The story also explores most of the crafting, forging, runes, etc tropes of cultivation novels.

Warning: this story makes fun of cultivation tropes, plus has a very very OP MC leveling skill - it is part of the fun and silliness. Hopefully the MC is still cute and likeable 😃

Warning: The following is very important for your choice in reading this novel!

This story explores what might happen if a couple of special abilities were used in a cultivation world affecting how to cultivate, fight, and in the use of cultivation energy, and in the crafting of items and weapons etc. The MC’s special abilities give her a huge edge on normal cultivators.

The story uses modern terminology.

I hope you enjoy my story as much as I enjoy writing it 😎

This is a great novel about a young girl stumbling upon some cultivation resources and becoming one herself. She is naturally gifted in cultivation and since she is mostly by herself she is forced to come up with new cultivation techniques then relying on thousand years sutras that have seen no improvement.
    character 5stars
The characters are amazing so far. The main ones we have been introduced to so far Is the main protagonist and her mother figure a nice old woman. The MC is a little girl so she has interesting since of humor and takes stupid risks which pairs well with her character. However we have seen some character development in as little as 7 chapter with her smarting up and practicing in safe places instead of directly in the town. The old woman is a cliche in a good way. She is cranky, doting, and smart. The biggest plus is that with how the story is going she will not fall off into the abyss as a background character but flourish with the MC
    Grammar 5stars
There has been only a few minor misspelling but nothing atrocious like machine translated garbage. The prose style is nice and the MC dialogue (internal and external) matches a little  girls voice.
    Story 4.5 stars
Not much has progressed story wise just foreshadowing and introducing future plots. However the “discovering cultivation arc” is going great so far with her steam rolling through it.
    Style 4 stars
Standard style for a cultivation novel nothing out of the ordinary. Slightly unique world cultivation method.
Overall 4.625 I’ll go ahead and round up to 5 for cuteness
I would highly recommend if you want a more light hearted and more unique cultivation novel.

Story: The initial chapters focus on outlining a detailed world for accidental cultivation to occur in; you get a good introduction to Ling Mai, our strong-willed main character who develops a keen interest in the mystical elements that surround her otherwise ordinary life. When she finds out cultivation is a possible avenue she could take, she begins to ponder, and in a sense re-define her place in the world—identity is not a fixed concept in the face of massive outward change, and she contends with her burgeoning awareness that she can be different than she had been... that other possibilities are available to be explored. That is an exciting backdrop to a story, and the reader shares that sense of excitement Ling Mai experiences.
I will say, as a slight downside, that the pacing of later chapters feels a tad overdone—we zip through the plot points at a rate beyond what I was expecting initially, and it can be hard to keep up kind of. Was still engaged throughout, but had to adjust expectations to reality here.
Character: I’ve already covered Ling Mai’s initial character arc in the story elements, so to add to that, let’s discuss her personality traits that make her a character you want to see succeed: she comes from unfortunate circumstances, as a street urchin having trouble to even survive; she is resilient to the difficulties and unfairnesses of life by consequence, and is intelligent and inquisitive... her path is clear now: she will become someone greater and more powerful than she had ever thought possible. And that hits harder because you know from how low she came!
Style: Modern style, sparse prose – not my particular taste, but competently done (dialogue a bit off at times).
    Grammar: Good, no comment.

The first few chapters feel great. We get an introduction to the world, power system, people. But my problem starts after that, because the pacing somehow increases.
People no longer speak like people, it's like they are just a chat box in a side quest.
The dialogue is just terrible. Like how did the author make them sound so robotic and idiotic. Like the tanner who got cured, he suddenly goes, "oh you healed. Thank you. Do you have anymore of the thing you healed me with". Like he sounds like an NPC.
Then there is the terrible attempts at creating tension. Like, Mc is op and treated like a literal miracle child. Sure, that's not a deal breaker, but she literally is no challenged, unless it's from some dumbass NPC. Like why can't any of the characters have and brains?

Style: The style is very modern, up to the point where every character talks in basically contemporary speech, from words like “microscopic” to “percent”, while trying to depict a medieval asian setting as typical with Wuxia stories.
Story: The story moves along at a very fast pace, but turns mostly in circles around exposition and explaining the magic system, making the MC breeze through it with ease with no apparent issues or explanations as to how, leaving the thought open to the reader that she is just some superprodigy without the usual surrounding issues that come with those sorts of stories.
Grammar: Very little can be said about grammar other than that it is correct and adequate.
Character: The characters are very strongly characterized. What character traits are not immediately apparent from their actions and words are instead summarized by the MC’s thoughts, leaving very little space for interpretation or ambiguity. Every character also seems to give complete and lengthy explanations of everything in the world, as if talking to the reader directly more than the MC that is in front of them. The MC is the biggest offender in all regards. Supposedly a 9 year old orphan girl, she is incredibly mature, independent intelligent and even literate, all to such a degree that one would expect to be in reality a 30year old adult reincarnated in an isekai story, Rudeus Greyrat style.
