Description

The thumbnail is a secretary bird, by the way. It is a striking animal, isn't it? It's one of my favorites. I thought it might catch some attention.

I've completed a variety of short stories on r/writingprompts, and I thought I might submit them here. It is both to see if there is any critique for my writing style and to see if anybody enjoys them.

I tend to like turning the lighthearted prompts more serious. Try them out!

Your story honestly caught me off guard—in the best way. It’s probably the most creative and thought-provoking short piece I’ve read this year. The mix of dry humor, strange logic, and deeper meaning all came together so smoothly. It stuck with me after I finished.
Right now, I’m three chapters deep just trying to explain a single time travel mechanic, so reading something like yours, which sets up a whole world and character so quickly and cleanly, was both humbling and motivating.
I really hope you keep writing. I would like to read more of your work
