Cool story, really. I love how the author balances the comedy, the ecchi-style humor, and the dark-fantasy vibe. The fights are honestly something to talk about—they’re intense and feel almost anime-level. The romance between Elsa and Drake is sweet too, and Annie? I just love how straightforward she is. She might actually be my favorite character so far (and no, it’s not just because of her bold personality and the way she acts around Drake that low-key makes me jealous). Power scaling could use some tighter work—unless the author truly has a master plan cooking. We also need more adventure; let the MC explore different places because we don’t want the whole story to stay only in Sidonia. Overall though, the characters are great, the worldbuilding is fun—just needs a bit more polishing—and the whole thing is honestly worth reading. It’s not a waste of your time. Give it a try and you won’t regret it.

Such an incredible story. Lately I find myself reading every interesting book with comedy tag but many of them just don't make the cut because the synopsis just sounds boring. This book nearly went into the same pile but I'm so glad it didn't.
Despite not having too much depth the characters aren't too shallow either. Each of them has their distinct personality and their reasons for that particular development. Since the characters aren't too complex but not uniform either it makes the perfect balance for a lighthearted with a certain goal that doesn't focus too much on the end game and more on the path while the characters are getting stronger and more experienced.
What I don't find so good is the worldbuilding. Like we read a few conversations about the kingdoms and some places but we are 30 chapters into the story and the characters went to a few shops and spent a little time in the forest. It's not that big of an issue but still could see some improvement in my humble opinion.
The comedic part, however, is something completely different. The casual banter between Drake and Elsa is totally hilarious and Elsa's tsundere side is just too cute especially when it clashes with a straightforward personality like Annie's. Drake's charm, however, is sometimes a bit too much. I would understand if it were just Elsa, Annie and Big Mama because one could justify it with their open and daring personality but when every woman suddenly starts fawning over him just because he stopped some criminal I can't stop myself from thinking that it's bordering on mind control at this point. Otherwise absolutely perfect.
