This is going to be a slow burning series. This is my first project as an author. he starts as weak as possible then he will get strong. If everything goes right i m thinking of writing a 500 chapter at the very least
disclaimer: i dont own the ASOİAF or the GOT series. they belong to author G.R.R. MARTİN. Cover art is taken from a stock photo site.
A/N: English is not my first language so if there is a grammer issue please tell me and i will try to fix it. i will try to release 1 chapter a week every friday. if you want to read ahead or donate you can visit p-a-tre-on/kurowashi

- TheUmbraBearRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Ok, the story is pretty interesting even though the pacing is a little slow.
The power progression is actually pretty well thought out and paced very well to me even though ot can be worrying at the start, the Mac is NOT absolutely OP and, as in war, you can't do everything by yourself. That's where the familiars come into play.
They are varied each with a unique skillset and character, and I just love every single one of them. If you are wondering if you want to continue, I would recommend if not for the gritty GoT story then at least for the familiars. (Nin)
The overall plot progression can be considered fairly generic for the type of novel, which doesn't detract from my enjoyment of it. It is just pure, unfiltered ASOIAF fanfic fun. - Apropos_Of_CrowRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0As the title would suggest, this novel is about a Druid in game of thrones. It's a typical isekai story, man dies and is reborn with gifts, etc. Fairly standard as far as novels go, but it's also quite literally the only game of thrones fanfic I've seen, so it has that going for it.
Its not especially well written, with poor grammar and spelling at times (gets better as the story progresses, practice makes perfect and such). But it's not bad either, it gets the point across (just expect things like the word "3th" every onc win a while.) it has a fairly decent story and characters, and fairly good pacing and timing. But it does come off as sort of like the entire world revolves around the MC, and that the MC is good at everything there is to be good at? Not too an obnoxious degree, but it's there.
uhhh... I don't know how to fill out the word count. So I guess I could mention how the magic systems alright? Combat and stuff is there, and the novels never dull and boring? It's pretty fast paced.... still not enough words. There's birbs? Birbs are good, the MC gets animal companions eventually, and they're pretty well done? - Fenyx39Royal Road★★★★ 4.0I really like this story as a whole, inserting an extra into GOT but with the talent and potential to have an impact. I also appreciate all stories that have been continued.
What frustrated me about this story, however, is the way that he acts very cocky and arrogant. He grows faster but only during focused training. He knows this, and reduces his practice time severely. Also continually doesn’t get on board with the whole noble vs commoner thing which like it or not is the dominant social order
Then at about 10yo he is romping around the woods, admittedly developing Druid skills, and disobeys instructions to fight a bunch of bandits. Almost immediately after he decides that he needs to go to the North and justifies it by saying that there is nothing in Winterfell which can challenge him. - KingXaviRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Interesting plot and well written. Bonus for the # of chapters.
Only problem is the plot flows like some old isekais, all about a hero that doesn't really go through hardship, experiences no major losses and such.
You need to balance it out, wins and losses should be equal in a sense, to make it feel more realistic. - foboschRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I am torn on this novel. On one side I enjoyed reading it, but on the other, there are some glaring issues with this story.
The positive: The MC acts rational in most cases, uses his powers well and takes active part in the world. He also avoids clinging to canon, which makes the story more interesting (from my perspective)
The negative:
The MC is too... perfect. There are no real weaknesses, nothing were he is not the best at. This makes things a bit dull in my view.
The MC has no friends. He has subordinates who are extremely loyal, but are dependent on the MC for various reasons. The MC is also always right if there is a disagreement.
The MC has no romantic interest, not even a crush. Not necessarily bad, but if it is ignored like this, it feels to me like an important human aspect is just cut out of a character.
The social dynamic of an upstart in medieval society is not presented well. (Mild spoiler warning for this point). The MC starts off as a commoner, but rises quickly to a nobel rank due to magical abilities. But other nobels tend to just accept him, even without knowing most of his abilities. This just feels off to me in a medieval society so deeply rooted in ancestry.
The MCs powerset is a bit too much for me, especially his ability to awaken familiars. I am biased in this regard as I feel that writers use animal companions as an excuse to make the MC less edgy without interacting with other humans. I would prefer humans with their own motivation, and an MC who has to take that into consideration, instead of ordering overpowered animals around who obey him as their master.
EDIT: The author has changed this in newer chapters, so I added an half star to my review
The writing style is based on the author telling us how talented the MC is. Not showing, literaly writing down that he is extremely talented. This happens a lot. A minor issue, but for me it gets annoying really quick. - DnojRoyal Road★★★ 3.0It's one of those stories you've seen countless of times: someone gets reincarnated from our world into a medieval fantasy setting, gets cheats from the god reincarnating them, then becomes OP while being a child.
There's nothing unique here, to be honest. It's one of those turn-your-brain-off kinds of stories. And really, you'll need to turn your brain off because the grammar will hurt your brain when you read it; even worse when you listen to it.
It's not ineligible like some MTL's, but it's close. There's also this weird quirk where the author writes the % before the number. So the author will write "%100" instead of "100%." That, plus a whole host of small but consistent errors, makes reading this feel like walking with a small pebble in your shoe - doable but annoying.
The story so far is... Mid. There's really no big conflict as of yet. He's literally a child, 6 years old, but he's already almost knight-tier and impresses the maesters, so it's mostly just the grown ups being impressed.
The closest thing to conflict so far was when he was ambushed by the jealous noble brats, but he managed to get away from that almost scot-free.
I guess what I like the most is how he uses his magic. His magic is weak, and that's a boon to the story because it forces the MC to be clever in how to use it, and so far, he's been clever about it. - mythology2002Royal Road★★★ 2.5This, to me, seems like your standard fare in fanfic writings.
Self-insert main character with vaguely defined yet undoubtedly strong powers
Failing and/or choosing to not vibe at all with the original flavour and depth present in the work it's based upon
Clumsy, shallow, and sometimes contradictory characterisation
A premise that rouses the interest and sprinkled with a couple fun moments, but ultimately hampered by chaff
You know, the works. It can be an enjoyable read, and I did have fun at certain points. But that said, it's not something I probably haven't read before on Wattpad when I was 12, unbothered by nuance and complexity as I was.
Though it seems the writer is having fun, i hope. Which I like and seems to show in their writing I think?
I wrote a lot but basically it's not terrible and maybe even enjoyable, but I expected quite a bit more considering its relatively high rating. - RadaghastRoyal Road★★★ 2.5This is a power fantasy set in GoT. If that's what your looking for then you GoT it.
Initially it starts out great. He is a rare spell caster in GoT. Background story living in the North was ok. We meet some beloved characters. Basically he was getting ready for an exciting adventure.
Then the character's personal power arc is already above 90% of the world before he is a teenager. That alone just makes this story meh. A big reason that GoT was exciting was that beloved characters could die very suddenly. The medieval world FELT real. But not this GoT story, the MC who is the greatest, bestest, 10000% uber powerful fighter of all time. And wait! He is also just as powerful as a mage! You lose the excitement of the world. The world is now barely dangerous. And it feels like the only time the character is in danger, is if he royally messes up. In my opinion, he is basically on vacation. And all your beloved characters in GoT? In the end they barely matter. The MC can do whatever he wants.
Every chapter after 60 is basically who will the MC slaughter this time? I know plot armor insures the MC survival. But it is hard to get excited for any conflict if the choices for them are "Will I use power A, B or C to massacre the enemies?".
To give context: Barely a ten year old child. The MC beats the elite squires who are 16. And now can match adult knights. Physically. Magically? He can probably kill all of Winterfell. He also slaughters a dozen bandits who he ambushes during a robbery/rape. And currently is the only elemental mage in the story. His spells are also increasing exponentially in power. And last I checked there were not a lot of mages throwing fireballs and earth spikes in GOT. He also has warg powers(commands and controls animals) Oh and he's a genius too. And a monster tamer and a stealth archer, etc. etc. etc.
In comparison:
The Captain Westeros story here in Royal Road is better just for this reason. Yes Captain America is a super sold - NekotamaRoyal Road★★ 2.0I read almost 200 chapters of this, so it's not completely awful. I would probably put this down to the main character's fairly consistent advancement in ability.
Other than that there isn't much here to like. The grammar is, and remains bad, the initially bad narration at least improves over time, but that can't cover this story's main problems.
Number one, the main character is, and remains at all times an arrogant, annoying, needlessly antagonistic asshole who is far too confident in his own moral, intellectual, and spiritual superiority. It's insufferable. He is also framed as being correct in this, since everyone, except the dedicated bad guy of the day constantly agrees with him, accepts his behavior, and even thinks him a great guy.
Problem two is that the author doesn't understand feudalism in general, and the politics, and workings of it in asoiaf in particular. This is far less irritating than point one, but it did take me out of the story many times.
I summary, I can't recommend reading this. - LadyFffireRoyal Road★★ 2.0I've barely really read the story given that I got to a whole three chapters before I felt sick of it but I do feel like I've gotten enough of a gist that I can give my two cents.
The rest of the fanfic is most likely just a disgustingly overpowered mc blasting through everything he encounters. Any worries about the future of your mc or any side characters are null and void given that he will probably just poke the biggest bads to death. At chapter three there is the abysmal decision of removing knowledge of the future in exchange for learning EVERYTHING at a five times rate and an entire little mini dimension. Leaving the dimension apparently heals you and your familiars meaning it seems like yet another way for the suspense to vanish.
Overall, don't feel like reading any further. It's possible the later chapters get better but given the other reviews I fear that it may not. The author should probably redo their earlier chapters because the quality is the level of a shitty fanfic. Given the fact that this IS a fanfic, it doesn't give a good view.
