"A distorted future" is a captivating story about a young prince named Mistery who struggles with his own sense of inadequacy and the need to prove himself to others. Despite his lack of skills and self-confidence, he earns the admiration and respect of those around him.
Style: The writing style is engaging and easy to read, drawing the reader into the story by exploring the vision of others from Mistery's abnormalities. The abnormalities ability needs something still but it's good to have everyone on a planet inherit an ability at birth like everyone on Misery's planet can conjure fire.
Grammar: In terms of grammar, the story is well-written with few errors. There are some minor typos and punctuation errors here and there, but they do not detract from the overall reading experience.
Story: The story is alright, with a good plot. Mistery is a relatable and sympathetic protagonist, struggling with his own insecurities and doubts as he tries to find his place in the world. The first arc is fine but it is too heavily dependent on Misetry action, you should follow through to see others shine.
Character: As I mentioned before the first 6-7 chapters are heavily dependent on Mistery so the other characters there are "unflattering". The only character I take a shine in my reading is Blade as he overcomes his "inferior" complex and helps Mistery.

    Opening/story
This is a novel about Mistery, and it focusses on this to start, we get to know how he feels in the world around him, and it really does strike home. His inner thoughts around his lineage and what people expect of him are hard. So we can really feel for him, and feel for what he wants from his future and what's happened in his past.
    Style/Grammar.
The pov is good, and it does flow well, I can see the story, the characters and the details in the world. Of course I want more, there’s some things the authors just telling us, rather fast sometimes too. Style and grammar I think kinda go hand in hand here, I mention word choices the author relies a lot on, (began) once I saw too many of them it just stuck in my head and it really di get in the way for me as a reader. It will take a good pass, highlight them all, and  remove them, and put the story a little more into our heads and get the real action in what’s taking place going. Our characters are doing, not beginning to do.
    Characters.
Mostly we’re with Mistery, which is good. We see those around me at the placement contest, and we get some added extras in chapter 9, I kinda want this through the novel so we can see when things are taking place at least, so that this doesn’t just come out of nowhere. I did wonder if we actually swapped pov a few times, but I think it’s still Mistery?
I like Blade, the grandfather’s interaction a lot, and Hope! She’s lovely, the two of them together, aww… it’s that first awkward stage, wholesome and just perfect for them. They’ve been through a lot, and I hope they can move forward, I think they will! They really do seem to like each other.
    Closing.
This all in is a fresh story world and idea, where I want the author to shine.  it reads pretty well, even with my gripe above. The action is good, the characters start to develop nicely, and I adore the art too. I can see this getting quite the following. Just needs a bit more spit and polish! Thank you for the read!
