Susumu "Pip" Yamayuchi wakes up as a digital ghost in the year 2040, after being frozen for 20 years. She's invited into the virtual game world of Thousand Tales. She has the chance to start a new life in what she considers the future, but what part of the game will she dive into? And how exactly is she alive at all?

So far, she's chosen a life in the space world of Threespace. But what's next for her?

This story is a complete novel, an intro to the Thousand Tales setting. Feedback and plot suggestions are welcome! This one takes place in the same world as several of my other stories, in the last year of the established canon timeline.
