I died and became the weakest of the undead horde. I clawed my way from the lowest levels of the pit of doom to become the killer of hope and the bringer of despair.

It was I that destroyed the city of Shalegos and killed their god. I started a war with those that lived before demons and man. I raised the dead armies of Amalur. I tamed lightning and bound fire, stole the old magic of the Talamasca and was cursed for it.

And this is the story of how I became the first evil.

So far a good read. The story has a plot and great suspense, instead of the typical LitRPG constant mind-numbing grinding. The story is not new by itself, but the author uses his own style to breath new life into overused troupes. The characters are believable and likable. Side characters seem to actually have a purpose and impact on the story. I look forward to how the story unfolds in the future.

The initial premise of the story is interesting and the writing is ok from a technical level but it seems to be suffering from two main issues.
The first is the pacing. Every event happens far too quickly, nothing breathes or gives the characters (or reader) time to digest or to form any connections to the characters before immediately killing them off.
This leads into issue 2. The author has chosen to write this story from the perspective of multiple characters. Four at the writing of this review in less than 30 chapters.
This wouldn't be so bad of the characters where together and offering different view points to the same events, rather each perspective is an entirely sperate plot line leading you to feel as if you're reading four seperate novels at random.
These two issues combine to leave the story confusing and muddled with no real narrative throughline to latch onto.
