Description
At the meager age of 27, a young man lost his life in an unfortunate accident but by the mischievous tides of fate, he was a given a second chance at life in a world of swords and magic. With the goal to conquer the great labyrinths and explore the vast world, a legendary adventurer will be born in the lands of Merusia. This is the story of the man who was once named Matteo Alcantara, as he enjoys his new life in a world of fantasy and adventures as Grey Silverdrake.
A sweet, sour, and slow slice of life with hints of adventure, romance, and cooking! A second life he's always dreamed of with novel and friendly encounters! The adventure of a lifetime!

- Cmigraderman1Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's light hearted and innocent, a good palate cleanser with how dark these stories often are. Lite rpg elements and heavy on slice of life, a good one to use to introduce this type to a younger generation. Could use an editing pass to fix incorrect pronoun usage, here and there
- McReaperkingRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0nothing needs to be said. its got fluff, its got action, its got a convienent display of abilities, overall a nice relaxing read.
It avoids the trope of stupid spineless MCs with bleeding hearts and zero posessiveness which was a pleasent plus.
There isn't much more to say overall a fun lightheared read i highly reccomend - srkiesser1Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Seriously this Author is great in my eyes. Not perfect by any means in terms of word choices, some room for improvement. Minor spelling issues obviously typoes. Some words here and there are out of order, or else a word is typed twice. I assume all that can be classified as technical difficulties. Maybe trying to type on a Phone or something. Yet ignoring the technical aspect, the world is alluring and the tale to be is captivating. I'd be honored to talk with this Author directly just to exchange ideas about various things, and inspire one another. Keep Writing PLEASE!!!! Just throw it out there, and we can see what sticks later.
- ValhallaWraithRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Considering how much of this story I've read, I believe it deserves a review. The story is very slow in the later arcs, but if you're looking for a fantasy romance story this is for you. It has some issues, but I'm still reading so I'm unlikely to identify any deal breakers for you.
I can't recall the exact division, but arc 1 is definently a fantasy-romance story. The succeeding arcs are more romance-fantasy. While I make the claim, the removal of the romance doesn't actually cripple the story. My claim relates more to the screen time rather than how important it is to the story.
I feel obligated to mention why I'm reading this story. It's a monogamous relationship in a fantasy setting without drama or tragedy (essentially). It's essentially impossible to find a story similar to this which is this long.
Basically as long as the story continues to have those shiver causing romance scenes without a harem, I'll keep reading. Kudos to the author for not following the harem trend.
