- KingofPizzaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0On a site full of stories with god-like protagonists, time loops, reincarnations, and mundane household objects becoming world leaders, it is strangely refreshing to read something relatable and down-to-earth like this.
At least as of the first chapter, Yellowjacket feels like a solid, contemporary fiction novel that I might expect to find in a bookstore. The prose is direct, clean, and doesn't demand too much from my tired, lazy brain. And most importantly, it got my attention.

UPDATE: 60,000+ words later, this book still has me coming back for more. The author really seems to understand how to write a character-centered drama. I do think the pacing is a bit slow, but I think it will be worth it because the author has set up a lot of little time bombs, any of which are primed to give the MC hell.
If you're tired of skill-stealing MCs, Pokemon fanfictions, and overpowered spell flingers, bring yourself back to Earth with this honey-glazed story! - StarlightNecromancerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Grounded fiction can be a little hard to find, but Yellowjacket is offering up a good one so far. The characters feel real and their dialog natural. The only thing I can't comment on is the accuracy of the spanish as I'm not a spanish-speaker (native or otherwise)
I'm looking forward to more!
