Description
Traveling the world sounds like a fascinating adventure. Traveling multiple worlds sound even better. But is it really an adventure if you’re forced to travel?
What if a god had control over your existence? What would traveling feel like then?
Well, there’s no point in thinking about these things anyways. Choice is only given to the strong.
And nobody’s stronger than a god.

- leafquillRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5This story is fast-paced and easy to follow, with mysteries and a strange world where most people are slightly fishy....
In some ways however, it's much TOO easy to follow. The author over-explains nearly everything, even when the reader can clearly see the situation. The sentences are redundant in many instances, repeating the same information sometimes 3 or 4 times in different ways. The writing is also very wordy and passive, with very little "punch" to the tone; you may see the author using 30 or 40 words and 6-8 sentences when the same information could have been conveyed in a dozen words in a single sentence or perhaps two. All these things together account for the very low style score I have given the fiction.
Some of the characters feel very genuine, and I might expect to hear some of the same dialogue from a real person. Other characters rely too heavily on a word tic, which is repeated sometimes several times within the same paragraph of dialogue--one character says "ho" almost constantly and another says "gosh." The main character is unfortunately a very shallowly-written person with only the ability to either severely overreact or severely underreact to stressful situations. There is room for growth in the character department.
The grammar has almost no errors and the formatting of dialogue is nearly perfect as well.
The plot itself is interesting, a view of a new world told through the eyes of a newcomer to the planet. He must learn about the politics of this place while getting caught up in a potentially deadly game between a corrupt politician and a mad scientist, whose choices have brought both prosperity and suffering to the people. Who is right and who is wrong? Is it possible that everyone is, yet no one is? What other forces are at work in this new world?
Overall a worthwhile read. The chapters are short and digestible so please check it out!
