"Obviously inspired by stories including some shonen anime (MHA, Naruto), as well as clear nods to the X-Men. Definitely worth a look. If any kind of action-school stories are your bag, you'll probably feel right at home"
-IkomaTanomori, On Royal Road
Even the mightiest of warriors were once children, and all children eventually grow into teenagers. Here are a few stories of a few more than mere mortal teenagers as they go through the trials of high school.
“So long as there have been humans there have been others, and with this co-existence has come unions between us. The offspring of these many possible unions are collectively called ‘demi-human’. Half Human; Half Something Else.”-Benjamin Franklin, 1784, The First Sentence of “The First Edition of the Complete History of Demihumans.”

- IkomaTanomoriRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Obviously inspired by stories including some shonen anime (MHA, Naruto), as well as clear nods to the X-Men. Definitely worth a look. If any kind of action-school stories are your bag, you'll probably feel right at home. There are some big handwaves in the world-building setup, but the story is laser-focused on communicating characters so it's understandable to take shortcuts with the world. Each chapter being titled after and focusing on a different protagonist character leads to a feeling of an anthology of short stories, and it will be interesting to keep reading and see when and if things join up between chapters.
