Description
In Spellbreak, we met the Witch, sometimes the victim of Fate, sometimes Fate's tool. Rescued first and last by a mysterious woodsman, his memory haunted and comforted her on her journey from Maiden to Crone.
In the darkest woods and the darkest histories, he comes to us as well. Born of violence, transformed by sorcerers, and craftsman of exquisite and magical things, he never settled, never found peace until he rescued a young woman and then went off to die, so that he would not disturb her sleep with his rotting.
This is his story.

- RydeniusRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A new story from the proven author of Beach Bum where curmudgeony ex-soldier Hux just wants to go his own way and leisurely explore the VR game world that is giving him a second chance at life, but the l33t youngster gamers are only looking to pwn him at every turn. What's a grouchy old man to do?
Jujitsu their asses back to the starting spawn point, of course! That is, when he's not running for his life, making life-long enemies, and getting unfortunate system announcements praising his accomplishments.
Good pacing, lots of blue boxes, action and tension, cringeworthy gamer names like Lego-lass... what's not to like? Thumbs up. 👍
